Here is my Day 5 card for the Christmas card challenge! Our prompt for today was gifts.
I cut the presents from Basic Grey Jovial 12x12 paper and then used a 6x6 pad to build the rest of my card. The light panel was punched using my Fiskars Threading Water punch and the strip above it is a BG ribbon doily. I added stickles to the gifts to made them stand out more, love how they look! The sentiment is from a Hero Arts Christmas stamp set.

Happy Father's Day!!
This is my 900th post!!!!!!! Wow!!! I began blogging in 2006 but it was only a handful of posts for a few years and then it became a regular part of my life in 2008. Here's to 900 more! Woohoo!
I've been on a roll today with making cards so this is a first of 3 posts so that I can get all my cards in before the challenges end. First up we have a card for my stepdad. I had such fun making it this morning (don't you wait til the morning of when you need a card? no?? why not?!) I find I work much better under pressure :)
I am sharing this card with The Pink Elephant #152 - Masculine and I Spy Sketches #20 (whose sketch was based off a Lori Boyd card who is the TPE owner!)
Here is my card~
I made an absolute mess while creating this card. First I put together the base of the card and splatted it with Studio Calico Mister Huey's Mists in Manila. Then I masked the image panel with a rectangle and sprayed the mist over it. After that I colored the image, paper pieced the shirt and stamped the sentiment. Next up I cut these tools from MFT Die-namics using silver cardstock from PTI and spritzed them with the mist. Then I had to clean up my huge mess since the mist was everywhere!!
Here's a close up of the tools!
Here is the sketch from I Spy Sketches - I flipped it so I could hang the tools on the bottom of the panel.
TFL!!
Supplies~
Stamps: Moka Tim from Taylored Expressions, Hero Arts sentiment
Paper: PTI cardstock, Basic Grey Granola
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, copics (C9, C7, C5, E11, E00, B99, B97, B95, E59, E57, E55)
Other: ribbon from stash, brads from stash, border punch from Fiskars, MFT tools die-namics, Mister Huey's Manila Mist

Skating by to say Hi for FBW #176
It's time to flutter!
This week's Flutter By Wednesdays Challenge is open, just remember to include a butterfly, fairy or angel on your creation. You can enter {HERE} and also we have a guest designer this week! Her name is Amanda and you can see her creation on the FBW blog and say hello to her at her blog {HERE}. You can see the rest of the FBW team's samples by visiting the links on my sidebar.
I am so in love with my card this week! I've made lots of cards with no coloring lately and it was like getting back on a bicycle with my copics LOL!
This cutie pie is Roll With It from the MFT Pure Innocence line. She was so happy to finally see ink and I even gave her a sidewalk! I used the current Sketches by Carly which I've posted below. One of the baskets I filled with paper is one collection from each company that I have paper from...in hopes that I can try to use some of it up! This paper is from the American Crafts City Park line. I thought it was perfect for this image!
Since I want to use paper up, I decorated the inside of the card too :)
Thanks for fluttering by! I'll be back later this morning with my Taylored Expressions Blast from the Past hop card!

Birthday Sundaes Challenge #31
Good morning!
I'm here with another fun challenge for Birthday Sundaes! This week the challenge is to create a tall (or long) birthday card. Click {HERE} to enter your card and to check out the wonderful samples from our Design Team and Guest Designer!
We are being sponsored by:
The winner will get to pick 3 digital images of their choice from the Sweet 'n Sassy shop!
SNSS also provided the Design Team with images to use - thank you SNSS!
I used Fall Arrangement which I've had in my digi collection since sometime last year and this is the first time that I remember using it. I am so pleased with how the image looks, I haven't been coloring much but taking my time really helped me get back on track. I was inspired by the tiny flowers on the image to use this patterned paper from an old DCWV fall stack. The layout was inspired by a CPS sketch from a few weeks ago.
I am also entering my card into Challenge #11 - Fall Flowers/Pumpkins at Crafting for All Seasons.
Card Supplies~
Papertrey Ink cardstock - Plum Pudding, Summer Sunrise, Kraft
Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps - Fall Arrangement digital image
sentiment from Hero Arts
Copics
DCWV patterned paper
Fiskars threading water border punch
leaves from stash
mini pop dots

Belated Birthday Card Challenge for Birthday Sundaes!
Good morning!
Today's Birthday Sundaes Challenge should be helpful for lots of people :o) We are challenging you to create a belated birthday card, don't forget that the birthday wording should be visible on the front of your card. The Design Team really came up with some fun ideas. Click {HERE} to see the samples and enter your card! Did you see our Guest Designer Sabrina's Spotlight? If not, click {HERE} to check it out!
Here is my take on the challenge~
I found the sentiment in a Fiskars Make a Wish Quotes set that I picked up quite a few months ago at Joann's. I think this is only the second time I've touched this set! The fabulous paper is new Crate Paper Random that I got from SCACD last week, love the mix of patterns in this pad! I dug the primas out of my stash and blinged them up. The border punch is also by Fiskars and called Apron Lace.
I used last week's SCS sketch as a jumping point - a great sketch to use something other than an image. I have really been enjoying making cards without coloring, although I'm not sure I make them any faster LOL!! I spend lots of time looking through all my pretties to decide what to use.

Precious Baby Girl
Quick share for today - a layout of my niece and I at my bridal shower. She was about 3 months in these photos and she's over a year old now!
I picked this page kit out of a prize bin at the LSS crop - everything is from the kit except the flowers & pearls. I used the Fiskars Threading Water punch on the edges of the blue strip. The layout is an older one from Sketchy Thursdays - I forgot to write the dates on them when I printed a bunch of sketches to bring to the crop.
The designer paper is from MME Wild Asparagus as is the 'precious' title. I cut up some ribbon from the kit that said baby girl to include as part of the title. The cardstock is Bazzill, the great thing about scrapping at a scrap store is always having cardstock available that matches everything!
TFL! Hope your week is off to a good start!

Flutter By Wednesday #160
I can't believe we are at 160 FBW challenges!
Today's challenge is an open one - just remember to include a butterfly, fairy or angel on your creation. This week we are sponsored by Through the Craftroom Door - click HERE to enter your project and to check out the prize details!
Here is my creation ~ a layout of my niece. Pictures are from my bridal shower last August. While I was opening gifts, she decided to go play in my friend's dog's toy bin and I had my sister snap a few pics.
The layout is based on an old Sassy Lil Sketches layout, I had it printed in my crop file and didn't write the date of the sketch on it. The paper is from the My Mind's Eye So Sophie line. I had fun mixing and matching the patterns that were included in the collection. The flowers and butterfly are from Prima.

PCC90 - Mother's Day
It's Friday! Yippee!!
Tomorrow is National Scrapbooking Day! How are you celebrating? I hope to be in my craftroom a good portion of the day catching up with some of the online classes I am taking. I'm lucky to be squeaking out my page a day for LOAD at this rate LOL! I need to do a serious clean up in here to make it easier to find things (again!!)
Today's PaperCutz Challenge is to create a card, layout or craft project for Mother's Day using any colors you'd like. I made a card for my mom - yes, I am actually done ahead of time! If I didn't have this challenge to do though I'd probably be making it Saturday night LOL!
I have been wanting to use this Basic Grey Marjolaine collection on a card for her. She loves greens like the ones in this paper pad. I was going to stamp an image but then decided to go with the matching chipboard since I will be hand-delivering the card. The sentiment is from a newer Fiskars set. I inked the edges of the card and patterned paper panel with Chestnut Roan chalk ink from ColorBox.
I was inspired by this sketch from Just Add Ink~
If you'd like to play along with us at PaperCutz, please click HERE.

Today's Flutter By Wednesday challenge is an open one! Just remember to include a butterfly, fairy or angel on your creation. You can enter it HERE and for some inspiration please visit my fellow DT members, links on my left sidebar!

I pulled out my DCWV Linen Closet stack once again, it's perfect for this lovely Anya. I paper pieced her dress with one of the tiny scraps I've been saving (see you really can use those for something!)
I used SC315 for the layout, so many possibilities with this one. Will definitely save it for future use!

Everything but the scrappers floss and sentiment is from the Taylored Expressions Pet’s Place Project Pantry Kit. I just love these kits! They make cardmaking so quick and easy. The sentiment is from a new Fiskars set called Make a Wish Quotes.
The wonderful layout is from the Clean & Simple Stamping Blog~
