Flutter By Wednesday #77

Happy Wednesday!! I am so happy to announce that I'm back on the Flutter By team! I have missed participating so much and life has finally slowed down enough to allow me to rejoin! Let's also give a big welcome back to Taylor!

This week's guest designer is Anna! What a great blog she has, be sure to check her out and leave her some love! Also its the last week for birthday blog candy, thanks to all that made Danni's birthday month so fun!

Our challenge today was to use a butterfly or fairy along with sapphire (the September birthstone) as a color or as an embellishment...this was a toughie! I had some bling but it just didn't go with anything...so hopefully my card is sapphire-y enough. I tore it apart a few times before I was happy enough to post it.
This is Sprout from Paper Makeup Stamps. I think she is just adorable :) I painted her shirt, shoes and hairband with Stampin' Up Brilliant Blue ink and glitzed her up with Star Dust stickles.

Flutter By Wednesday #76 with SC247

Woohoo, I did 2 challenges in the same week that they were posted!!!

I just had to do Danni's Flutter By Wednesday challenge. Its still her birthday month and you can enter to win a sweet digi image designed for her by Christy Croll, I so want it!!

Here is my card:
I used SC247 for the sketch, it fit perfectly with the image (by Unity!) I picked out of my stash and was perfect for layering with this Basic Grey Urban Prairie paper. Copics used are B02, RV14 and Y32. I embellished the card with Crystal Stickles and prima flowers. The cute mini flower brad is by Making Memories.

What's this??? A new post from me!!

Yes, I am finally posting!!! Wow, I can't believe its been over 2 months since my last post!

Life has just been super busy...crazy and awesome and everything in between!! I bought a house and will hopefully have a new craft room to share in a few months! I also got engaged!

I had the opportunity to create some cards over Labor Day weekend (Thanks Pat!!)...and I also did a few over the summer. Hoping to share them all here eventually.

This card was created using a Whimsy stamps image from a swap I participated in ages ago. The stamps are packed up so I am happy to have a huge stash of images to work with. I used a sketch from Taylored Expressions which can be found HERE.

Isn't he adorable?! I just had to add Glossy Accents to his shell, it made him pop!
