Flowahbella x5

This will be a loooong post! Last month I participated in an MMM card swap, Marvelous Monday Mailers. The challenge was to use the same stamp or stamp set on the 5 cards. I chose to use Flowahbella from Stamping Bella since she is one of my favorite stamps. I love how she looks different in all of the cards, yet at the same time it was a little tough coming up with a new idea each week LOL!

I'll show each card and link to the sketch I used and then show supply lists at the bottom.

Happy 4th of July!

I hope you all had a great day with family and friends. I had a nice quiet day at home and then I went to the fireworks with my mom and boyfriend. IKEA (where Mom works) was a sponsor and had a tent and front row seating for us, it was very cool!

Here are a few cards that I created a few weeks ago. I'm not sure who makes the images as they were sent to me by a friend, I think they are very cute.

I used sketches for these but I can't find my notebook to give credit, sorry!

Last night, my boyfriend and I went to see his hometown fireworks, here are a few pics:

Not too bad...I think tonight's were better, but I'm too tired to download and resize them right now. I think I got enough decent shots to have some good scrapbook pages for this year.

Goodnight!

Stamptacular Sunday #13 - Party Animal

As soon as I saw this challenge on Sunday, I immediately knew that I wanted to use the penguin stamp from the TCP Smells Like Cake set. Don't they look like party animals lighting up that yummy cupcake?

I decided to make my first gatefold card...I have to say it didn't turn out quite like I expected. I think I finally figured out the problem, the sentiment is too big to cover just a tiny bit of the main image (which is why I moved it to the bottom!). I'll have to try it again soon and see if I can get it to close!

I also decorated the inside a bit since it peeks out from the front.

The Recipe:
Stamps: Smells Like Cake ~ The Cat's Pajamas
Paper: DCWV Sweet Stack, GP, brown (stash)
Ink: Tuxedo Black, Angel Pink ~ Memento, Copics ~ Y32, E57,R43,R81,YR16
Accessories: Labels One Nestabilities, stardust stickles

Thanks for visiting!
