Olive the Otter

Isn't she the cutest otter you've ever seen?

Olive arrived in the mail today and I inked her up right away (that is a definite FIRST lol!!!) I was heading out with my sister and decided to use Olive on her birthday card.

I used the sketch at Cute Card Thursday ~

I also decorated the inside a little bit ~

My sister just turned 29, so I just had to use this stamp when I saw it LOL. I also added some comments about her turning 30 next year {giggle} and yes, I can tease her all I want since I'm 3 years older! he he he

It's a Bella Sunday!

Danni and I challenged each other to use our bella stamps from Stamping Bella today, just bellas for today, not the other cutie patootie lines. We are going to each make at least 2 cards using some fab stamps that haven't seen ink yet.

I picked out a bunch of stamps last night and naturally couldn't decide which one to ink up first LOL. This morning I had a brilliant idea to use this week's recipe challenge at Christmas Stampin' All Year Long. I had such a fun time putting this card together!!! I really love how it turned out :)

Card Details ~
Stamps: Jinglebella ~ Stamping Bella, Studio G sentiment
Paper: PTI Kraft, Pure Poppy, Stampers Select White, BG Eskimo Kisses
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black and Rhubarb Stalk
Copics: Eoo, R29, YG67, E29
Other: American Crafts ric rac, misc. buttons, candy cane & gold stickles, gold spica pen, white fun flock, mini pop dots

Now I need to decide what to use next! I'll be back later with a 2nd card!

Third bella of the day and I think it's the last, I am tired but I did have so much fun! Can't wait until next weekend to play along again :)

Another valentine card...

This is Phoebe Ketto, she's from my stash of swap images. Tomorrow I plan to ink up a few new ones now that I found them, I thought they ran away lol!! I just forgot where I put them ;) I got to use my new scalloped square nestabilities, did you know that Joann stores are now carrying them? I heard about it on a yahoo group and had to go investigate last night - got to use a 50% off coupon and a gift card - score!

I used TESC98 for the layout

Congrats, Grad!

This is the card that I created for my brother's 6th grade graduation earlier this week. Super quick and simple, seriously I made this card in 10 minutes the day of the graduation. Can you tell that I am a major procrastinator yet?? LOL!!

The layout is this past week's Techno Stamper Sketch #75 and guess what, she is giving away some blog candy to celebrate sketch #75. So pop on over HERE and get that card entered, you have until Sunday night to enter!

I used a Studio G set that I bought awhile ago intending to use it on my own graduation pictures someday. The paper is DCWV (dots) and Sandylion Stickers (stars). I just needed to embellish this card a tiny bit so I used Ranger Glossy Accents on the graduation cap, no sparklies for my brother.

Thanks for looking! So far its been a busy weekend, I am going to spend at least part of tomorrow getting crafty, have a few swaps that need to get done.

The Recipe:
Stamps: Studio G Series 14
Paper: GP, DCWV, Sandylion Stickers
Ink: Tuxedo Black ~ Memento, Copic B23
Accessories: Ranger Glossy Accents

Sketch Saturday #53

Happy Thursday! Only a few more hours until its officially TGIF!

This is a card that I created earlier this week using Sketch #53 over at Sketch Saturday. I really like how it came out. I used my Labels One Nestabilities finally! I've had them for months!

The theme for the card is "How Much is that Doggie in the Window?". My doggies have been in the window for a verrrrrrry long time! This is the first time that Stamping Bella's Dogwalkabella has seen ink! I know, I know, shame on me! I am trying to get better about using the uninked stamps, really I am!

The Recipe:
Stamps: Dogwalkabella ~ Stamping Bella, sentiment ~ Studio G
Paper: DCWV, GP
Ink: Tuxedo Black, Night of Navy ~ Stampin Up, Copics (picture below, B29 on the top row at the end)
Accessories: Labels One nestabilities, ribbon tag trio nestabilities, Slot Punch ~ Stampin Up, corner rounder ~ Stampin Up, ribbon ~ American Crafts

World's Best Mom

Here is the card that I gave to my mom yesterday :) She loved it. I incorporated some of her favorites - green, cats and flowers.

I used Cambria Turnbow's WSC80 for the layout of the card which you can see HERE. The paper is a mixture of new and old. I recently started rearranging my scrap papers so that I have better access to them and boy, its really working out well for me. I am using the Cropper Hopper Vertical Storage System and its fantastic! A little pricey, but well worth it since its making my scrappy life so much easier!

The Recipe
Stamps: Grasshopper Fluffles ~ Stampendous, sentiment ~ Studio G
Paper: Georgia Pacific, Paper Company, DCWV, Colorbok, Hot Off the Press
Ink: Tuxedo Black ~ Memento, copics (B02 - third marker)Accessories: ribbon ~ Michaels, mega circle punch ~ Marvy, giga scallop punch ~ Marvy, designer label punch ~ Stampin Up
