It's Spring Time with Paper Cutz!!

This week at PaperCutz Challenge, we are challenging you to create a card, layout or project with the theme of SPRING!!  I think everyone is probably ready for spring, right???

I had a great time making this card.  Poppy Fields by Penny Black is one of my favorite stamps.  I also used some more old ribbon and paper stash, yay me!

I used this week's Paper Works Co. Sunday Sketch.

I created this card last week for a spring swap. Nothing says spring like flowers!

The Recipe:

Flutter By Wednesday #51

Happy April Fool's Day! Hope no one plays any tricks on you ;)

This is my card for Flutter by Wednesday #51. This week's challenge was to use NO patterned (designer) paper. Wow, what a challenge that was! I dusted off my cuttlebug and used 2 different folders, although I can't tell you the names...guess I should have written them on there before tossing the packages!
The stamp is one of my favorites from Penny Black. The hedgie is just too cute and of course, I love the butterfly! I envisioned the hedgehog traipsing through the forest, so I used PTI Kraft paper for the background. I kept the card simple since I didn't want to cover up the whole "forest". To make it a little interesting, I cut out the butterfly and popped it up.

The Recipe:
Stamps: Companion ~ Penny Black
Ink: Tuxedo Black ~ Memento, Copics (Y000, E53, E57, G99, RV13, V01)
Paper: Kraft & Ripe Avocado ~ PTI, pink (unknown), GP

Accessories: cuttlebug folders

This week we are welcoming Nancy to our team! You can see her blog HERE.

Don't forget to check out our leader Danni's blog and this week our featured team member is Ann. Last but not least, you can see the rest of the flutter by ladies' blogs on my left side bar.
If you play along, please link your card to Danni's blog and use FBW for a keyword if you upload to SCS or PCP!

Thanks for stopping by!
