MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

Before I show you today's cards, I'd like to take a moment to thank everyone that has followed my 25 Days of Christmas. I appreciate your taking the time to look and comment. I'm hoping that I can keep up the daily posting next year!

First up is a reindeer card, one of my favorite things about Christmas. I got the image from my friend Sandy, not sure of who makes it. I think I need to find out because I really like it and would love to use it over and over. I did use a sketch...don't know where the notes went, if I find them, I'll edit the post. And look, no DCWV paper on this one! Its from SEI's Christmas line this year, its so pretty!


And lastly, it wouldn't be Christmas without a Santa Claus card. I got this image from the round robin that I hosted over the summer. It turned out a little funky when I added the stickles to the beard and hat LOL. Paper is DCWV of course. I should own stock in this company!


I hope you all had a Very Merry Christmas my friends! I enjoyed a nice day with family, long but fun! Tomorrow Mom and I are hitting the mall for some After Christmas deals! Tomorrow I'll share a few of my favorite gifts!

On the 24th Day of Christmas...

I have 3 cards to share with you all today. These are the cards that I made for my co-workers (or as I like to call them "my boys"). I used Splitcoast sketches for them but unfortunately I left my notes home and I'm hanging out with my sister for the night. I also have to apologize for not cropping the pictures, for the life of me I can't figure out how to in the Paint program even after visiting the help section.

On to the cards:

I had fun with this card. I decided to break out the fun flock for the first time. I used a Quickie Glue Pen to apply it, most of it stuck but I did end up with a lot on the desk and inevitably me LOL, it really does look cool though and I will be using it again...think I might need to get more colors too!

On the 23rd Day of Christmas...

its technically the 24th...but I didn't forget to post yesterday, I swear! I got home very late and for some reason the modem wasn't on, its not mine and I can't figure out why it wouldn't work. So please forgive me! Thank goodness for the back dating feature so I can make this the 23rd LOL!

Here is the last Christmas Fluffles of the season...I got this image from my friend Pat. I absolutely love this one. I can so see my friend's cat doing this so I had to send her one of these cards. I used another Splitcoast sketch - SC79. As you can see, I just love my Stickles - I used 5 different ones on the tree but I didn't make a list....whoops!

On the 22nd Day of Christmas...

its getting close! I can't believe Christmas is only a few days away!! I'm still not ready...one more card to make, one set of note cards to make and all the presents to wrap!

Today's card is a House Mouse. Its an old Stampa Rosa HM that I bought on ebay. I love how it turned out. Glossy Accents was my friend for making this batch of cards lol. I used another Splitcoast Stampers sketch - SC120.

I had a good mail day today, got lots of cards from my friends AND my bella order! Woohoo!! I won a $15 gift certificate back in September on Jen Del Muro's site and I finally used it during the Bella Anniversary sale. I got some extra goodies for placing an order during this time - 4 jars of some embellies that I've never seen before and 4 mini bellas! They will be neat on my scrappy pages!

On the 21st Day of Christmas...

I'm making a little progress! 2 handmade gifts down, 1 to go! I'll share in a separate post once I download and edit the pictures.

Today's card is another Fluffles from my friend Sandy. I made a few of them and one will go to my little brother and my little sister LOL! I used a splitcoast sketch - SC129 which you can see HERE.

On the 20th Day of Christmas...

I almost forgot to post! LOL

I blogged so much earlier that I took and break and then completely forgot about my daily card!

The image used is a House Mouse that I got from the image swap that I hosted. This card is for my boyfriend's parents and I think it turned out awesome! And for those that don't know...the top to the Glossy Accents comes off, I learned that lesson the hard (and messy) way! LOL!!


Here is a close up of the candle & marshmallow - I had fun shading it to make it look "toasted". You can slightly see the shine on the candle holder. It looks cool IRL.

O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree

Here's a picture of our Christmas tree - minus the bling (tinsel). I was so psyched to finally get a decent picture. I had to use a tripod and the self timer setting so I wouldn't be touching the camera and make it shake too much. I need to get some gifts wrapped and then I can take an updated picture.

Every year I add a new ornament to the tree - this year I bought myself this cute Smores ornament at Kohls'. It has a reindeer so I had to have it!

Christmas Lights

This year Mike and I took a drive to Hubbard Park, its about 20 minutes north of where I live. Its a local park that is decorated with all sorts of lighted animals/objects. You can see it from the highway and it looks really cool. I decided since it was free, it would be a good thing for us to do.

I went to a local church Christmas fair with my mom a few weeks ago. Its one that we go to every year and we try to go to their tag sales in the summer, I usually find some great books there.

I bought this very cute reindeer decoration, he's sitting on top of my scrap cabinet.


This year I decided to try my hand at the raffle baskets. I bought 12 tickets for $5 and spread them into 4 different prizes. I won two!! I was sooooo excited to get the phone call that I won. I didn't think I did win since it had been almost a week since the fair ended. So last Saturday I went and picked up my winnings.

The Nutcracker basket is incredibly awesome and very unique with the cross-stitched ornaments. I would never ever have the patience to make them. I tried to take a close up of each one, but I won't bore you with all of them LOL!



The chocolate basket is just divine. I've already dipped into a lot of it and hav frozen the rest til after the holidays. Mom started baking this week so I won't need any extra chocolate for awhile. She's been taking pictures as she goes, I told her she must give me the pictures so I can scrap them! She also got some good pictures of our snow, I can finally use some of my winter embellishments!

On the 19th Day of Christmas...

I'm still making Christmas cards! At the rate I'm going, some may get theirs late, oh well I tried! I think I shall start earlier next year.

Today's card features another image that I got from an image round robin. I'm not sure who makes it but I think its just too cute! I made this card for my co-worker to give to his girlfriend, I sure hope she likes it!

I tried to keep it simple to focus on the image. The sentiment (from a Studio G $1 set) is perfect for the card, I think. The sparkle is stickles of course, always need to try and fit in the bling!

On the 17th Day of Christmas...

I love this quick simple card! I used a Taylored Expressions sketch which you can see HERE. I left the embellies off since the patterned paper is so busy. I really love this bear. I got it in an image swap that I hosted. I decided to lay off the pencils for the bear itself and used my poor neglected Stampin Up watercolor crayons. I adore reindeer so this bear is right up my alley!

On the 16th Day of Christmas...

This is another image from my friend Sandy, aren't they cute?! The sketch is from Splitcoast Stampers #203. The corner images are from Studio G - I just love the $1 sets, I've been getting so much use out of them. And of course I had to get the bling in there, for the tails I colored them with my prismacolor pencils and went over them with my copic clear spica pen. I accented the ornaments with the Sakura Stardust pen.

Just under the wire LOL!

I've had a very busy night. Went out for awhile to do a little Christmas shopping, a few more things off my list! I attended an online gift opening for a Secret Santa exchange (I have some yummy new goodies to play with!) and now its time for my daily post.

I got the image from an image swap so I'm not sure what company makes it. I thought it would be appropriate to post a snowman today since we're expecting a little bit of white stuff tomorrow. The sketch is from the Taylored Expressions blog - TECC46. The "snow" is Frosted Lace stickles.

On the 14th Day of Christmas...

I didn't get as much done as I had hoped to! Isn't that always the way though? I always set my goals way too high. Not that its a bad thing, I just can't seem to achieve it LOL!

Back to today's card of the day, this is Christmastini by Stamping Bella. The image was shared with me by my friend Christina. I used a sketch from Splitcoast Stampers - SC204. A very quick easy card! I didn't want to wait for Stickles to dry so I used my copic spica pens and my sakura stardust pen to get the bling effect.

Birthday Mouse

This had to be one of the quickest cards I've ever made. I whipped it up in about 10 minutes, before I left for my brother's 12th birthday party. I used Jen Del Muro's Sketch for You to Try which you can see HERE. The paper is from the Christmas DCWV stack and the House Mouse image is from my good friend Sandy.

Even though this is a boy's card, I still had to get some bling in there. I used my copic at you spica pens on the candle.

I'll be back later with my daily Christmas card. Need to get to work on it now!

On the 12th Day of Christmas....

You're getting an early treat from me! I have stamps sisters club tonight after work so I thought I'd post before I leave for work since I'll be home late :)

This is another one of my new stamps for this year. Michaels got in a limited supply of Stampendous stamps and I stocked up - who could resist when they had them 40% off? I know there will be a few in my stocking too - woohoo!

Anyways back to Fluffles, I just love this fat little cat. He's cute and mischievous. The layout of the card is my own - shocking, isn't it? LOL It was easy to decide what to do since the main image is on the larger side.

Yummmmm cupcakes!

The cupcakes are from Taylored Expressions - Stamp a Sweet Impression stamp line. They are the CUTEST cupcakes around! I had so much fun that I had to layout each card a little different and try to use all the sentiments that came with them too. I think I need to move the birthday cupcakes up on my wish list! They are such cute stamps and they stamp very well.

On the 10th Day of Christmas...

Today's card was made with an image from the Christmas image round robin that I hosted over the summer. I adore it and would love to own this stamp for next Christmas. I decided to go the non-traditional colors with this card, used up some scraps from a previous card and I think the mousies look good in pastels!

Look no stamping!

This is the card I made for my mom's birthday this year. A friend was able to get the Mickey Font cardtridge on clearance for me a few months ago and I finally broke it open to use for this card. My mom looooooves everything Goofy and she loved this card. This is my first time really piecing something together with the Cricut, it was a little trying but I think I'll do it again LOL!
