Well the first month of January is coming to an end in less than an hour. I accomplished some of my goals, did you??
Stats for the month:
36 cards made - a few of them Christmas!
15 pages scrapped - off to a great start!!
6 books read - I had 5 picked out, goal surpassed!
Blog at least 20 days out of the month - check!! Went way over that :)
Try a new technique - check! (ribbon through a button on a card- way cool!)
I won a few blog candies - yippee!
Oh...and...uh...I flunked the no paper challenge yesterday. I couldn't resist some clearance paper at Michaels - American Crafts 60 sheets for $4, I got the Jolly collection and the Backyard collection...and a new K&Co Valentine paper pad with a coupon.
I think 2010 is off to a great start! Let's hope February is just as awesome!

Check out the blogs of Danni, Nancy & Kimberly to see what Magnolia creations they have been posting!

Paper: Basic Grey Nook & Pantry
Copics: E00, E02, R21, R24, R27, E41, E33, E35, E37

Flutter By Wednesday #94
It's time for another Flutter By Wednesday!
No extra challenge today, just be sure to use a butterfly, fairy or angel on your card/project and link it to the Flutter By Wednesday blog.
I'm sorry that I don't have a card to share with you today. It's Tuesday night as I'm typing this and I haven't felt that great since Sunday night, so I'm giving up and getting some extra rest.
Be sure to visit my fellow DT members for some fluttering inspiration. Their links are on the left sidebar and on the Flutter By Wednesday blog.

Christmas Magnolia Blog Hop!
Good morning!
If you've hopped here from Jenn's blog, then you are in the right place! If you just happened to stop by, please start the Magnolia Christmas hop at Julie's blog!
For my card, I am using Santa Edwin...at least I think that is his name. I got him in an image chain last summer.

I got to use my Basic Grey Wassail for the first time, I bought it when it came out and then misplaced it lol! I think my favorite part of the card is all the fun flock on Santa's suit.
Your next stop on the hop is Lauren. Hope you are having a good time!
Card Supplies:
Stamps: Magnolia
Paper: Basic Grey Wassail
Copics: E00, C1, Y15, E57, N7, R89
Other: cotton ball white fun flock, snowflake brad from stash, gold spica pen

If you don't have any Squigglefly stamps yet, hop on over there to check out all the great releases from this past Saturday. I bought some and hope to share some creations later this week :)

I'm a little teacup...
When I saw the new line of Teacup Girls at Stamping Bella, I just had to get a few.
This is Scarlett the Teacup Girl and I thought she was perfect to use with the CCEE sketch this week and the Divine Diva Inspiration Challenge :)

Here is the sketch from CCEE -
I started out with a square, but I tried using various border punches and they wouldn't cut through so I cut it down to a standard size card.
Here is the Divine Diva inspiration -

Check out this post HERE to see who else is participating in Danni's Stamping Bella weekend, there is inspiration all over the place :)
Card Supplies:

The Pink Elephant #50
No, it's not a Stamping Bella...but I'll be back later with some more of those! I picked out sketches, images and paper before going to bed last night. It should make card making go a wee bit faster today!
I wanted to make sure I shared this Pink Elephant sketch challenge card since a new challenge is posted tomorrow. I created it one night last week and have been lax in getting it to the blog.
I used my new Greeting Farm Princess Anya along with Basic Grey Bittersweet paper
I love how the pink and black looks together.

Stamping Bella Weekend
Hi there!

I used today's OCC sketch for the layout.

I'm also entering it into the Pretty in Pink Challenge at Crazy for Challenges.
This weekend I'm playing with some of my favorite online gals making cards using Stamping Bella stamps! This was Danni's brainstorm and she asked if we wanted to play along, but of course...especially since it's all her fault that I started buying them LOL! {Thanks Danni! :-)}
For my first card, I am using Juggla Bella. I got her in a swap last year and thought she'd be perfect for a valentine card.

I used today's OCC sketch for the layout.

I'm also entering it into the Pretty in Pink Challenge at Crazy for Challenges.

Flutter By Wednesday #93
Happy Wednesday! It's one of my favorite days of the week since I get to share a fluttering creation with you all.
Please be sure to visit the Flutter By Wednesday blog to see what our guest designers are up to and you can enter your creation into Mr. Linky there. Don't forget to check out my fellow DT members blogs too, they are always amazing! Their links are on my left sidebar!
Today's challenge is to Emboss it! Any kind of embossing will do, please remember to use a butterfly, fairy or angel with your card or project!
For my card, I chose to dry emboss since I don't do well with heat embossing (and I still haven't moved that stuff from mom's yet lol). The layout is from the Stamping 411 blog, it was perfect for my idea (well my 2nd idea - the first one didn't work out lol). I saw a black & white card on one of the card groups I belong to and when I came across this image, everything just fell into place :)

Stamps: Image from my stash - I stamped it awhile ago and don't have the actual stamp handy for reference!
Paper: misc cardstock from my stash
Ink: Memento
Accessories: Labels 3 Nestabilities, Swiss Dots & D'Vine Swirl cuttlebug folders, strip on the bottom is a Cuttlebug embossing border

A Touch of Christmas #1
*3rd Post of the Day - scroll down to see what you've missed!*
So when I saw that Danni and Kimberly were doing A Touch of Christmas, I just had to participate! Why not get a jump start on Christmas and start your cards or projects? I told Mike in December that I would start in January and he was like yeah, right! He was surprised when I went downstairs to show him this card!
This is a very funky Christmas card for me, but it all came together quite quickly. The paper is Basic Grey Bittersweet, yes I used a Valentines paper for a Christmas card. I kinda like it! The image with its dots and stripes seemed to just flow with my paper. This sketch from 2 Sketches 4 U was perfect for the card.

Card Supplies:
Stamps: Fluffles Noel
Paper: Basic Grey Bittersweet
Ink: Memento
Copics: RV21, RV23, E33, E35, R89, YG17
Accessories: ric rac ~ Michaels

Squigglefly Challenge #31
Welcome to the first Squigglefly Challenge of 2010!
Challenge #31 is to make anything but a card using a Squigglefly image. I chose to make a bookmark, I can never have enough of them!
This is Gus and he was released on Saturday, did you check out the new releases yet? If not, you must, click HERE! I used CTMH Swirl Stroke for the lettering.
Check out what the rest of the DT created and enter your own! Click HERE to go to the Squigglefly Challenge Blog, the DT links are also on my left sidebar.
Happy Monday!
