As promised, I am back with my DT post for Daydream Designs!
For today's card, I am using the Sweet Christmas Wishes set, it comes with the cupcake and the sweet sentiment. I just {love} cupcakes and this one is especially yummy. I had a great time coloring it (except for discovering my R24 marker is bone dry!!) I added cut apart a second cupcake to add the holly leaves by themselves as an embellishment.
I started with today's Feeling Sketchy sketch and incorporated the following challenges as well:
Created with Love Challenges #7 - Christmas plus a die cut (circles were cut with MFT Die-namics)
The Pink Elephant #164 - Use patterned paper
Christmas Card Challenges #40 - Use 3 of something (2 sets of 3 rhinestones for the holly berries)
And with that, pj day is officially over! I have to go get cleaned up and then clean up the kitchen before we head to my parents for an outdoor dinner. It's so beautiful here today! I really enjoyed having some time in my craft room during daylight hours!

SNC - CCC Day 24
Hi crafty peeps!
Here is Day 24's Christmas card - "Anything Goes" was our prompt.
I still had my Basic Grey Eskimo Kisses paper pad on my desk so I went in my scrap closet and found the coordinating Woolies. A quick and super CUTE card was then put together :)
I used a Stampin' Up punch for the sentiment which is by Hero Arts and I randomly stamped snowflakes with a stamp from the same Hero Arts set.

Merry Bingo
TGIF!
Any plans for the weekend? I'm hoping to take advantage of some tax free clothing shopping and spend some time cleaning my craftroom. The daily card challenge is taking its toll LOL! I cleared off the desk on Sunday night and now it looks worse than it did before I cleaned it that day!
Today I'm sharing a Daydream Designs card. It was created for the daily Christmas card challenge on Monday. The prompt was to use "25" on our card. I had the great idea to use a bingo card from the Christmas Bingo color set.
To make the "25" stand out, I decorated with a circle of yellow pearls and then filled in the rest of the 'bingo' line with some rhinestones. The paper is more of my Authentique Festive...I will be so sad when I finish this pad up! I finished off the card with a crinkle ribbon bow.

SNC - CC Day 23
Yes, I'm still in the challenge! Just a week left!
I still have several cards to share but I'm not sure where I left off. Hope to catch up on posting over the weekend :)
Today's prompt is to make a shaped card - let me tell ya that had me sweating! I have a Cricut and a Gypsy but there are several features that I don't use often enough so I forget what the little icons mean. Once I found a shape that I wanted to cut, then it was time to read the manual.
The welding didn't quite match up but not too bad for my first attempt at making a shaped card. The reindeer was cut at about 5 inches from the Doodlecharms cartridge and the tag was cut at about 1.5 inches from the Tags, Bags, Boxes & More cartridge. I stamped a sentiment from a Scrappy Moms stamp set on the tag and tied it on with some crinkle ribbon from My Craft Spot. Added in brads for his eyes and he was declared ready to be photographed.
I'm sharing my card with these challenges:
My Time to Craft #185 - Christmas in August
Moving Along with the Times - Shape Up - Anything but Square
Divas by Design - #49 Anything Goes

Sweet Warm Ups
Good morning!
Today I'm sharing my Day 18 card for the Scrappin'-n-Chattin' 30 day Christmas card challenge. The prompt for that day was "sweets" - a yummy prompt for sure!
I created this card using an image from the Sweet Warm Ups set and the sentiment is from the Sweet Christmas Wishes set, both available at Daydream Designs!
I used this week's sketch from The Sweet Stop. This week was a sketch with a spin - use die cuts or punches. I used my EK Success Scallop border punch and a Spellbinders Ribbon Tag die cut. The "topping" was made using White Opal Liquid Pearls - my first time using them. Love how it looks :) The paper is from the MME Be Merry 6x6 paper pad.
Here is the sketch~

My debut card for Daydream Designs!
Good morning!
Today is the big day! Diane is introducing the new team for Daydream Designs on her blog, which you can find HERE! The big reveal will be up at Noon (CST).
Here is the card I created to debut on my blog today! I had so much fun creating a little scene using two sets from the shop. I printed the penguin, trees and star from the Little Bits of Christmas set and then colored them with my copics. After that I fussy cut each image and placed them on 'mountains of snow' which was made with a Sizzix embossing folder.
Look at all the images that comes in this set! So many great images to mix and match for all of your Christmas needs!

SnC - CCC Day 14 and a new challenge blog!
Hello again - this is my last post for tonight!
Today's prompt for the Christmas card challenge is Santa! Since I didn't want to cut the same Santa as yesterday's card, I looked through my cartridges and found a Santa on Joys of the Season. Santa was a bit on the big side so I put together a simple card that really showcases him.
I used Authentique Festive papers and added a little Trendy Twine bow to finish off the card.
Did you hear about the new die cut challenge blog, Cut It Up? You can check it out HERE. They are giving away a really cool prize if you help them promote their new blog. There's also a DT call going on now too! You can check out all the info HERE and they also have a facebook page HERE.

SnC CCC ~ Day 13
Hi!
Yesterday's prompt for the Christmas card challenge was paper piecing...so I took a big step and dusted off my Cricut to tackle the challenge!
I cut this cute Santa from the Doodlecharms cartridge at approx. 3 inches tall. I "dressed" him up a bit using my D'vine Swirls Cuttlebug folder on his beard and I added some fun flock to his hat.
I just love how this turned out!
I used the current sketch challenge at Seems a Little Sketchy for my card layout~

SnC CCC - Days 8 and 9
Hello!
I made yesterday's card so late that I forgot to do a blog post, I'll share that one below.
First up is today's card! The prompt was "bling". Love bling!!
I knew I wanted to use these flowers...finding them was another task altogether but at least they were located! I used an MFT die for the scalloped circle and a Hero arts sentiment. I am submitting this card to Christmas Card Challenges - #36 Use something new. I used my new Authentique Festive paper :)
The card layout is from SCS.
And here is yesterday's card. The prompt was Anything Goes so I made a quick card using Basic Grey Jovial papers and chipboard along with a Hero Arts sentiment.

Snc - CCC Day 5
Here is my Day 5 card for the Christmas card challenge! Our prompt for today was gifts.
I cut the presents from Basic Grey Jovial 12x12 paper and then used a 6x6 pad to build the rest of my card. The light panel was punched using my Fiskars Threading Water punch and the strip above it is a BG ribbon doily. I added stickles to the gifts to made them stand out more, love how they look! The sentiment is from a Hero Arts Christmas stamp set.

SnC CCC - Day 4
Quick post for tonight!
This is my Day 4 Christmas challenge card. Our prompt for today was to use an ornament and a border punch. I really wanted to make a shaped card with the Cricut but I was short on time.
I used my Ornamental Christmas stamp set from Verve Stamps and a SU! border punch for the card requirements. The paper is some of my favorite ever - Basic Grey Jovial.

SnC CCC - Day 3
TGIF!
Here is my Day 3 card. I read through days worth of challenges before I started creating and was inspired by several challenges in making my card tonight.
First I started with Christmas Stampin' All Year Long's challenge to use "A Pair of 3" and used 3 frogs, 3 patterned papers, stamped the sentiment three times and added 3 gems. When I was selecting my paper I incorporated Do You Stack Up's challenge to use polka dots. Finally I tore the paper and inked it for 4 Crafty Chick's Distressing challenge.
Supplies~
Stamps: Jolly Christmas (Hero Arts)
Paper: Be Merry (My Mind's Eye)
Ink: Tuxedo Black (Memento), Creamy Brown (Colorbox Chalk Ink)
Other: copics (YG95, YG97, BG01, R37, RV21), rhinestones (Queen & Co)

First layout of the month!
It was kinda a given that I would scrap on the first day of the month...I waited (again) until the last minute to make my weekly page for the SNC 52 Week Challenge. The mojo just hasn't been there for my pages...but as I do almost daily, I look through all the challenges for the day and I found a great sketch at Sketches: Creatively Yours and knew I found what I wanted to use. Then came the decision on pictures - sigh, that usually takes the longest lol! I went back to Christmas 2010 and picked 3 pictures to scrap.
And guess what! I'm still using Basic Grey LOL! This is the Jovial collection that I bought for this album...which I still have oodles of. I better start scrapping more of this album fast. Christmas 2012 will be here before we know it!
Here is the sketch I used~
Psst...The Scrappin-N-Chattin Yahoo Group will be hosting a blog hop from June 11th-June 14th! Be sure to join us during that time to see lots of cute layout and projects featuring our furry friends :)
Supplies~
Paper: Basic Grey Jovial, Bazzill cardstock
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black (used on the squares)
Other: Creative Memories square punch, Basic Grey Jovial buttons, PTI button twine

Ooo what did I get?
I created this double page layout last night for my Weeks #12 & 13 of the SNC 52 Week Challenge. I'm still in the contest...I had to use passes 2 weeks in a row, hopefully I can keep up from now on!
More pictures from Christmas 2010. Journaling reads "Amber was a very spoiled puppy on her 1st Christmas! She sniffed each and every gift before she started playing.
I used this sketch from SCS - SBSC142. I mirrored the right side to make the layout match.

Let's Get Sketchy #4
I created this page the other night for this week's Let's Get Sketchy #4 challenge~
Here is a close up of the journaling and some of the bling I added to the paper. Journaling reads "Amber is so happy posing for Christmas pictures in her new dress".
All paper and embellishments are from the Basic Grey Jovial line, with the exception of the rhinestones, pearls & thickers.

52 Week Challenge - Week #4
Yay, I made it a whole month! *patting self on the back* lol
I don't seem to have a good track record when following through with challenges or classes so I'm trying very hard to stay motivated to get my layout done each week. I saw Frosted Designs sketch for this week and knew I had to use it!
Here's my take on it. I used more of my October Afternoon Holiday Style collection. It felt a little strange scrapping a picture of myself LOL. Usually if I'm it in, so is my hubby or my dog! Every year I add at least one new nutcracker to my collection - this year I added 3! Next year I'm going to have to find a new way to display them since I'm sure I find another to add.
