Ooo what did I get?

I created this double page layout last night for my Weeks #12 & 13 of the SNC 52 Week Challenge.  I'm still in the contest...I had to use passes 2 weeks in a row, hopefully I can keep up from now on!

More pictures from Christmas 2010.  Journaling reads "Amber was a very spoiled puppy on her 1st Christmas! She sniffed each and every gift before she started playing.

I used this sketch from SCS - SBSC142.  I mirrored the right side to make the layout match.

Supplies:
Paper ~TE Choice Buttercream cardstock. Basic Grey Jovial
Other ~ Basic Grey Jovial brads, ribbon from stash, Thickers

It's the first Flutter By Wednesdays challenge of 2012 and it's also a blog hop! So if you are here from Leanne's blog, you're in the right place! If you just stopped by to visit, hello there. Our blog hop starts {HERE}. We are welcoming 4 new members to our team ~ Karen, Leanne, Lynette and Suzanne! Welcome ladies!

This week's challenge is an open one - just remember to include a butterfly, fairy or angel on your creation! Please enter your creation {HERE} and check out this week's sponsor, Bugaboo Stamps and see how you can win! We'd also like to thank the ladies that played along with our month long December challenge! It was so nice to see some people getting crafty during one of the busiest months of the year.

This is my first creation of the year~

I dug deep into my printed Bugaboo Stamps stash and chose Ava Fairy to play with. She's colored with prismacolor pencils and I've highlighted a few areas with Smooch Illuminate. The layout is from SCS363.

Belated Birthday Card Challenge for Birthday Sundaes!

Good morning!

Today's Birthday Sundaes Challenge should be helpful for lots of people :o)  We are challenging you to create a belated birthday card, don't forget that the birthday wording should be visible on the front of your card. The Design Team really came up with some fun ideas. Click {HERE} to see the samples and enter your card!  Did you see our Guest Designer Sabrina's Spotlight? If not, click {HERE} to check it out!

Here is my take on the challenge~

I found the sentiment in a Fiskars Make a Wish Quotes set that I picked up quite a few months ago at Joann's. I think this is only the second time I've touched this set!  The fabulous paper is new Crate Paper Random that I got from SCACD last week, love the mix of patterns in this pad!  I dug the primas out of my stash and blinged them up. The border punch is also by Fiskars and called Apron Lace.

I used last week's SCS sketch as a jumping point - a great sketch to use something other than an image. I have really been enjoying making cards without coloring, although I'm not sure I make them any faster LOL!!  I spend lots of time looking through all my pretties to decide what to use.

Cupcake Ruby for FBW

Here is my promised card for Flutter By Wednesdays! As a reminder, our challenge is open this week but you must remember to include a butterfly, fairy or angel on your creation. Also, we are celebrating Danni's birthday month with a giveaway from some of her favorite sponsors each week.  Danni would also love to see some of her favorite things incorporated on your creations - think pink, sparkle, bright colors and of course butterflies & fairies! Click {HERE} to enter your creation!

I used Cupcake Ruby from our sponsor, Sparkle Creations.  I've had her for quite some time but this is the first time she's seen ink!

I incorporated one of Danni's favorite techniques - paper piecing. Every cupcake needs a fun liner, right? :)

The layout is from last week's SCS card sketch~

Birthday Sundaes Challenge #19

Good morning!! Are you all enjoying your weekend?  I got my new glasses yesterday, yay I can clearly again!

Last week we had an amazing number of entries at Birthday Sundaes! Wow!! I'm still looking through all the fabulous entries that were entered. This week we have another fun challenge for you! You can enter your card HERE and check out all the DT samples while you are there too!

This week's challenge is to create a birthday card using the following Inspiration Photo - I can't wait to see how you all will interpret it.  I think it's a fun one for summer! Don't forget your birthday wording on your card front!

Here is my take on it~

I combined two The Cat's Pajamas sets on my card.  The beach image is from By the Sea and the birthday sentiment is from You Say It's Your Birthday. I love how the sentiment looks like waves! How perfect is the paper, it's from the Basic Grey Granola paper pad.

I used this week's SCS card sketch ~

My card also follows these fun challenges~

Did you hear about Birthday Sundaes blog hop on July 31st??

You can check out the announcement HERE!

Have a great day! I'm hoping to get a little crafty after getting some house chores done and I think my hubby & I may go out to dinner, we are celebrating 2 years of home ownership today!

Walkabella

Good morning! I'm off from work today and tomorrow. My plans include getting my hair cut, cleaning out a few closets and of course, crafting! I hope to have lots of new things to share soon, I've been missing participating in challenges!

I'm sharing a card made a few weekends ago...actually all the supplies are still sitting on my desk LOL (as I type up this post on Monday night.)  This was created for a doggy swap, any time I sign up for a swap involving a dog, I always turn to my Bellas!

This is Walkabella and I've paired her with PTI Kraft cardstock and Basic Grey Hopscotch paper & Bloomer and a few Martha Stewart punched butterflies.

I used this sketch from SCS

SCACD Friends with Heart Challenge #1

The weekend is half over already, how could that be?!  So far my craftiness has been slow going...this is card #2 for today and it's after 11 p.m. LOL!

This week SCACD Friends with Heart Challenge is having their first challenge...it's open until Monday 12:00 pm PST. You still have time to enter and get an entry in towards the monthly prize, it's an awesome one.  You can check out all the details HERE.

Here is my take on the challenge to use any stamp carried at SCACD~

This is Little Aud from the Victoria Case for SCACD collection. She was so happy to finally get inked up today! I finally started watching the Color Me Creative class that I won back in September, I still need a lot of practice but I can already see a difference in my coloring.  I'm so excited to be taking Suzanne Dean's class in person next weekend!! The paper I used (for the first time!) is Basic Grey Hopscotch and the coordinating buttons.

The layout is this week's SCS sketch~ I left off the tiny panel to not block all the dp.

Tomorrow I'll share the bit of organizing that I got done in my room today.  It's getting there slowly but surely!

TFL and have a great night!

Angel Anya for FBW #138

Today's Flutter By Wednesday challenge is an open one! Just remember to include a butterfly, fairy or angel on your creation. You can enter it HERE and for some inspiration please visit my fellow DT members, links on my left sidebar!

I've been making lists of all my stamps (scary!!!) and came across Angel Anya who hadn't seen ink yet (she was so sad too!). I pulled out my DCWV Linen Closet stack once again, it's perfect for this lovely Anya. I used SC315 for the layout, so many possibilities with this one. Will definitely save it for future use!

Here's a quick card I created last night. When I saw this week's Squigglefly challenge, I knew I had to enter, I just love tulips and these Retro Tulips are no exception.

I decided to cut into my Delovely stack and enter this week's Color Me Delovely challenge at A Crafty Little Place and also enter the Let's Go Digital challenge at Crafty Catz.

I used SC283 for my layout.

That's all for now...need to get ready for work and then tomorrow starts my 4 day weekend, woohoo!

Well I ended up being out most of the day so I only got one card done...but I made it count for 3 challenges :)

In the Scrappin-n-Chattin yahoo group, we are doing a EDCC (everyday card challenge) for 14 days. Today's prompt was to use a stamp we've been wanting to use - I've had this Bouquet Bear on my desk for months, time to give him a home on a card!

On the Squigglefly SNR group, Holly issued a challenge to use glitter on a card. My spica pens glittered those flowers right up!

Little Baker

Good morning!! I have to say this is the first Saturday in a long time that I've felt like crafting early in the morning. I think the winter blahs are finally leaving, yay!!

Today I have a new Squigglefly image to share with you. She is Little Baker by Cheryl Alger. I really wanted to use my DCWV Sweet Stack so I chose the cupcake paper first which is wear the color inspiration came from. I like to think that she is baking pistachio goodies, one of my favorite cakes that my mom used to make had pistachio pudding oozing out of the middle.

Here is the sketch I used ~ I rotated it to accommodate my image.

Card Supplies
Stamp: Little Baker by Cheryl Alger ~ Squigglefly
Paper: DCWV Sweet Stack
Copics: E00, E02, E15, E17, E18, E27, E41, YG03, YG11, YG25, T3
Other: Large Deckled Rectangles ~ Nestabilities

Check out Squigglefly and see what other neat images were released today!

Recipes Somethings @ Stamp Something

I needed to make a male birthday card so I pulled out this cool image from my friend Terry. I decided to use SC269 and thought I would incorporate this week's Stamp Something Challenge - Recipe Somethings (designer paper, buttons & ribbon).

It's a little busy, but I like it! The paper is Basic Grey Archaic.

Here is the sketch ~

On the 1st Day of Christmas

Welcome to my 2nd annual 25 Days of Christmas!

I had so much fun doing this last year that I decided to do it again this year. I started making cards about a month ago to showcase throughout the 25 Days of Christmas.

Today's card I like to call "Beary Christmas". I got this image from someone else last Christmas, so I don't know his actual name or manufacturer. If you know, please leave it in the comments section!
I used SC249 for the layout, along with DCWV paper from one of the many Christmas stacks I own. The adorable buttons are from a big mixed pack of round/shaped buttons that I got last year at Michaels on clearance.

Supplies Used:
Stamp: Image from someone else, sentiment from AMuse Holiday Greetings
Paper: DCWV, Paper Company
Copics: E25, E27, R81, YG17
Accessories: Nestabilities Labels 4, buttons, stardust pen

Come back tomorrow to Day #2 and Flutter By Wednesday!

A Magnolia to share

This is a cute Magnolia card that I made a few months ago and never shared.

I'm not sure which Tilda this is, but I got the image from my good friend, Sandy, who loves Tilda as much as I do. I used SC243 for the layout, very fun sketch to work with! My favorite part of this card is the sparkle and bling :)

Supplies Used:
Stamp: Magnolia Stamps
Paper: Basic Grey Eva
Copics: RV13, E33, Y32, Y35, C1, R01, V17
Accessories: stardust stickles, Kaisercraft rhinestones

Thanks for stopping by! Be sure to come back tomorrow for Flutterby Wednesday!

Flutter By Wednesday #82

Hello and thanks for fluttering by for another Flutter By Wednesday!!

Its #82 and an open week, just use a butterfly, fairy or angel (for the holidays) and link it to Danni's blog!

We have Vicki from Stamped Smiles joining us as a Guest Designer this week, you can see her card on Danni's blog and visit her HERE.

My card today has Butterflyabella from Stamping Bella. The layout is SC249, love Splitcoast sketches, this one in particular was great to use a lot of different papers. I used some of my Basic Grey Eva and I found my Martha Stewart punch to add some flutterbys :)

Flutter by my team members' blogs to see their lovely creations, links are on the left sidebar. Also, please visit Danni and Taylor to send them some get well wishes, they both have the flu.

Trick or Treat!

Yay, I got some trick or treaters!

Here is the card I created for my neighbor. She only used to give out candy to us when my sister and I were little, he he. We're special :)

This is another House Mouse from Terry. She was so kind to send me some images to play with since mine are still packed up. I think this dino is so cute and just had to glitter it up lol

I used another Splitcoast sketch - SC220...too lazy to link it up at the moment, sorry!

Here's a better shot of the sparkle
Be back later with one more card!

Its a Candy Corn Halloween :)

I'm back with another Halloween card for you! This is the card I mailed to my mom, she liked it a lot :)

This adorable image was sent to me by my friend Terry. She is a huge House Mouse fan :)
The paper is all DCWV from various fall stacks. I can probably make at least 50 more cards with all the paper I have for this holiday. I used my spica glitter pens to color in the candy corn costumes and candy. Look below for a close up view of the sparkle. I didn't want to over embellish the card, so I used a single Petaloo Dazzler to accent. Love those! The layout is from SCS- SC252, I think this will be fab with a Christmas card!

I'm off to make sugar cookies with Mom. Will share another card when I get back!
