Cupcake Ruby for FBW

Here is my promised card for Flutter By Wednesdays! As a reminder, our challenge is open this week but you must remember to include a butterfly, fairy or angel on your creation. Also, we are celebrating Danni's birthday month with a giveaway from some of her favorite sponsors each week.  Danni would also love to see some of her favorite things incorporated on your creations - think pink, sparkle, bright colors and of course butterflies & fairies! Click {HERE} to enter your creation!

I used Cupcake Ruby from our sponsor, Sparkle Creations.  I've had her for quite some time but this is the first time she's seen ink!

I incorporated one of Danni's favorite techniques - paper piecing. Every cupcake needs a fun liner, right? :)

The layout is from last week's SCS card sketch~

Sweet Treats Emily

Good morning!

Just a quick card to share this morning.  I made it the other day for the Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge

Please ignore Emily's pink outfit lol...I swear it matched some of the pinks in the paper when I colored it!  I was inspired by Karen's card sample for the sketch to use the kraft as a base. I ended up making several more cards using the kraft and this Basic Grey Hopscotch line. The stamp is Sweet Treats Emily that I won from a Sparkle Creations' Blog Hop a few months ago.  That's 2 uninked Sparkle stamps used in one week, yay me!  I just got a few more in the mail yesterday, he he.

Here is the sketch~

Products Used:
PTI Kraft cardstock
GP cardstock
Misc. cream cardstock
Basic Grey Hopscotch 6x6 pad
Copics
Basic Grey Bloomers

Have a great day!

We're celebrating 150 Flutter By Wednesdays!

Good morning Flutter By Fans!!

Today is an exciting day at FBW, it's Challenge #150, so we are celebrating that as well as hitting 200 entries a few weeks ago. Danni is giving away 2 Sparkle Creations stamps as well as the new digi fairy image collection from Anita B. Stampin.  Check out all the details and enter your creations HERE!

Our challenge is to use soft pastel colors and to include a butterfly, fairy or angel.  I decided to ink up Charlotte with a Rose  from Sparkle Creations which I won from the FBW blog back in September.

I used Tuesday Mornings Sketch #88 for the layout.

Products Used:
Stamp - Charlotte with a Rose from Sparkle Creations
Paper - Basic Grey Porcelain, GP cardstock
Ink - Memento
Copics - lots lol, ask me if you'd like to know!
Embellishments - ribbon from stash, Basic Grey Porcelain buttons, Martha Stewart butterfly punch, Marvy Scallop Circle punch (the big green one!)

TFL and have a wonderful fluttery day!

Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps Challenge #1

I just {heart} Sparkle’s blog and was so excited when she announced the opening of her new stamp company.  I had to get a few of her cuties to play with.

This is Swimming Lucy and I created this card for Challenge #1 at Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps.

Swimming Lucy-Joy Fold card

I went to a crop yesterday and challenged myself to try different folds on cards, this one is a joy fold card. I was very surprised at how easy it went to together!  I made 10 cards total which will be posted sporadically as the recipients receive them (and a few are for upcoming PTT challenges!) You can find the joy fold card tutorial on SCS here.

Here is the inside of the card ~
