PTT #24

Happy Tuesday!

Today's Party Time Tuesdays challenge is to create a birthday card and include one or more balloons on it (plus the required birthday wording on your card front!).

Now when I envisioned my card, I really thought I'd be using birthday balloons....but in my messy room, the Unity Love in the Air set was the first one that I came across with a balloon in it....even more perfect is I found this American Crafts City Park paper. Love how this turned out!

It's Party Time!

I'm a little late to the party this week but here is my card! I had to clear a path to my printer so that I could print the images out and then clear a small spot to work on my desk...my scraproom is a MESS! I took pictures but they are way too embarrassing to post!! I need more time in my day so I can finish getting everything back where it belongs.

Back to the reason you are here, it's Party Time Tuesdays! This week it's the popular Anything Goes Birthday challenge, please visit the blog for all the details and samples from the design team.

I made this for my stepdad's birthday tomorrow. I think it will crack him up! The image is Gus from Bugaboo Stamps and the coordinating sentiment came with him.

I'll be back in a few days with a new PaperCutz challenge!

Happy Tuesday!

I finally have a PTT card to share with you all!

This week's challenge is a color challenge, when I was coming up with challenges I thought it would be fun to name some of them after cakes so this one is called "Carrot Cake Challenge" and the colors that should be used are orange, brown and white/ivory and don't forget the birthday wording on the front of your card!

I created this card for my FIL's birthday on Sunday. The paper is from the SEI Moonrise collection, the leaf was cut from the Stretch Your Imagination cricut cartridge and the sentiment is from the Paper Makeup Stamps Birthday Cheer set.

I used an FTL layout from last week~

PTT #14 with a few other challenges :)

It's time to party with Party Time Tuesdays!

This is the last challenge until October, we'd love to have you play along! The challenge is to use brads on your birthday card (along with the required birthday greeting/sentiment).

This is very CAS for me, it was tough to leave the 'white' space empty LOL! The images are Danni's Flutterbies from Paper Makeup Stamps, I had such fun coloring them. I added some Smooch Illuminate but didn't get the camera to catch the sparkle all that well. The flower brads are from Making Memories.

I also incorporated the following challenges:
Flutterby Wednesday #119 - open week (just use a butterfly, fairy or angel)
Makeup for the Weekend #40 - birthday card
Get Sketchy #53

If you'd like to play along with PTT, please link your card to the PTT blog by Sunday night to have a chance at the Top 3! You'll find oodles of inspiration on the blog as well!

Card Supplies~
Stamps: Danni's Flutterbies ~Paper Makeup Stamps; Birthday Bash~Verve Stamps
Paper: Flaming Butterfly ~ Nikki Sivils
Ink: Memento

PTT #12

I'm not sure where to start LOL! I've been left speechless by my wonderful team!

When I asked Di to become our team leader for PTT and she accepted, she asked me if she could take over the blog for this week. This was quite some time ago and I said sure, just figuring I would take a break from getting it organized. Well Di and the rest of the team surprised me with a special dedicated blog post! What an awesome thing to wake up to this morning!

I can't begin to thank you girls enough for the special words, beautiful cards, and especially the friendship and everything you have done to make Party Time Tuesdays a success. It makes my heart so happy and I feel so special!

Onto to the challenge ~ It's My Birthday challenge and it's a color challenge! Please create a birthday card using my favorite colors ~ pink, brown & white. Be sure to include a birthday greeting/sentiment on the card front and then link it up to the PTT blog!

You can see all the awesome birthday cards created by my fabulous team and our GDT, my good friend Danni, on the PTT blog! Links are also located on my left sidebar.
Edited to Add: Since tomorrow is my actual birthday, I've decided to host my first ever blog candy! Stop back tomorrow morning to see how you can enter to win!

Have a fantastic day, I know I will!

Yes, another easel card LOL!! This one has been made for almost a month, I made it for my mom to give my neighbor for her birthday.  I so love how it came out!  It was my first time using the MFT Lovin’ from the Oven set, it was fun to paper piece the image!  The sentiment on the card base is from the Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps birthday greetings set – my favorite go to sentiments set!

To play along with PTT, link up your newly created ‘anything goes’ birthday card (with a birthday greeting/sentiment on the card front) to the PTT blog by next Monday night. If you’d like to be considered for the Top 3, have your card posted by 8pm EST on Sunday.

PTT #9

Happy Tuesday!

Today’s PTT challenge is an easy one – the popular Anything Goes Birthday, just remember to include a birthday sentiment/greeting on the front to qualify!

I made this card for my neighbor’s birthday a few weeks ago. She loved it :) You can find a tutorial for easel cards here.

PTT9-Milli bday from me

I used the Pet’s Place stamp set and Project Pantry kit from Taylored Expressions for most of the card. I add the stamped greetings from a Verve set, the name escapes me at the moment and I’m not sure where I put my notebook lol

To play along and see some wonderful samples from my team and the July Guest Designer, please check out the Party Time Tuesdays blog for all the details. Links are on my left sidebar as well.

Have a great day!

It’s Tuesday and time to PARRRRR-TAY!

I love today’s challenge, it’s to make a POCKET card (birthday themed of course!!)  I used a tutorial from SCS which you can find here.

This is the first time I’ve ever made one and it was SOOO easy, why did I wait so long to try it?? LOL

PTT8-outside

I made this for my niece who is turning 13 next month, the pocket is perfect for some cash or a gift card! The image is from the TGF set Rain, Snow Shine.  She was lots of fun to color!

Here is the insert ~

PTT #7

It's time for another Party Time Tuesdays challenge!

This week's it's an 'Anything Goes Birthday' week!
For your card to qualify, please remember to use a birthday
greeting/sentiment on the front of your card.

Also we are introducing our Guest Designer for July!
It's Suzy from Scrap with Suzy!
Check out the PTT blog to see her card
or her personal blog that is full of scrappy goodness!

I made another masculine birthday card - it looks almost like the last one I did lol. I've had the same stamp and scraps on my desk all this time. Only one more co-worker to make a card for but I have til late August for that one. I wonder if I should make his with different paper?? LOL

I really like the layout that I used, it's an older TESC sketch. I was able to incorporate all of the 2 sided papers that I used. Stamping on textured paper isn't easy but I think it gives it a 'rugged' look.

Card Supplies~
Stamps: Alphabet Soup ~ Stampin Up
Paper: MME Quite Contrary
Ink: Memento
Other: brads from stash

To play along with Party Time Tuesdays, please link your card to InLinkz on the PTT blog. For more inspiration, please visit my wonderful DT members blogs, links are on the left sidebar and on the PTT blog. If you'd like a chance at the Top 3 badge, please have your card linked up by 8pm EST on Sunday night!
