A Color Challenge for PaperCutz!
TGIF!!
Today's challenge at PaperCutz is a fun one! We'd like to see a card, layout or project using the colors Pink, Orange, and White ONLY, a small amount of black may be used. Click HERE to join in the fun and to check out the rest of the team's samples!
It took me forever to pick paper to use for this card LOL! I finally decided to use KI Memories Paisley Parade when I found THIS sketch over at The Sweet Stop Sketches.
And here is my take! I used my Verve Blue Skies stamp set for the first time. I love how everything just pops on this card - the quote panel & butterfly with pop dots and the layers pop with the black.
Stamps: Blue Skies by Verve Stamps
Paper: KI Memories Paisley Parade, CTMH black cardstock
Ink: Memento
Other: Smooch (on the butterfly), Stampin Up Ticket Punch, Basic Grey Bling It rhinestones, pop dots

FBW #157 with Paper Pretties!
It's time for Flutter By Wednesdays! One of my favorite days of the week :D
It's the first Wednesday of the month - can you believe it is JUNE already?!
We have an open challenge for you today - just remember to include a butterfly, fairy or angel on your creation!
This week we are sponsored by Paper Pretties and they were so nice to give the DT images to play with! Check out the FBW blog HERE to enter your creation and to see what you can win!
I just had to play with the Flutterby digi - she is so cute!
I dug into some newer stash for my card. The paper and embellishments are all from the My Mind's Eye Gertie collection. The Flutterby image was cut using my new Labels Seventeen. I did add a little Smooch to the bracelets, necklace and butterfly but it's a bit hard to see in the photo. I also added a sentiment from one of my favorite sentiment sets - Little Moments from Paper Makeup Stamps.
I hope you will join us this week - there is always so much inspiration to be found on the FBW blog!

Birthday Sundaes Challenge #4
I have a fun Birthday Sundaes challenge to share with you all today!
I found this inspiration picture for the design team to work with...I came across it on one of the many wedding blogs that I still follow.
I am so proud of myself! I used my Gypsy to cut out this sundae from the Birthday Bash cartridge. The piecing isn't perfect but I'm so happy I was able to get it cut and together. I used to use my Cricut all the time but as the cuts got more involved, I shied away from using it..not that I stopped by cartridges LOL! So hopefully this will get me cutting more again. There are lots of Cricut challenges I would love to enter! I cut the banner using the banner dies from Papertrey Ink. If I thought of it ahead of time, I would have run the pink pieces through the Cuttlebug but since I already glued them down, I went looking for teeny tiny stamps to use as a sentiment. They are from a Stampendous cupcake set.

Aurora with Butterfly
I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend! I had 3 days off and had fun each and every day! I did manage to get one card done yesterday but then couldn't upload it since I got a new laptop (yay!!!) and it wouldn't recognize my SD card so we had to change my pics over to a different one this morning.
This is Aurora with Butterfly from the first Aurora Collection. The paper is from my 'older than the hills stash' (a Danni expression lol). BTW, you can see Danni's cards HERE!
I used an older Card Patterns sketch.
Back to the card...Danni and I like to challenge each other occasionally to make cards with various stamps/companies since we have a lot of the same things. This weekend we used The Aurora Collections by Victoria Case for SCACD and the color purple. I have a lot of older stash and purple and never use it.

White on White
White on White...that is this week's Flutter By Wednesday challenge! Your image may have color but the rest of your card/project must be ALL white! As always you must include a butterfly, fairy or angel!
I have to say this was TOUGH for me!!!! I procrastinated until the very last minute LOL! I settled on using Snowflake Lily weeks ago since I've had the digi printed out for a long time but then I just couldn't figure out what to do with her! I finally decided to create a little snow scene since here in the Northeast I've been dealing with a lot of snow, more to come later today!
I used my polka dots cuttlebug folder for the background and then added a few Martha Stewart punched snowflakes (punched from PTI shimmer cardstock) and some misc. clear gems from my stash. I wanted to keep the card on the lighter side so I colored Lily's hair blonde and her outfit with BV000 and BV11. Added some fun flock to her coat and lots of Smooch Illuminate to make everything sparkle (bummer...it's not showing up at all in the pic!).
You can link up your 'White on White' challenge HERE and for more inspiration, please visit the rest of the FBW team. Links are on my left sidebar!
Have a great day!

PMS Fan Blog Hop!
Welcome to my stop on the PMS Fan Blog Hop! I hope you are having a wonderful time hopping around seeing all the great holiday & winter creations! You should have arrived here from Maria's blog, if not, please start at the Paper Makeup Stamps blog to see what you've been missing out on!

My card uses an image from the new Christmas Cheer set, just love these ornaments! Now I bet that those who know me expected to see a fairy right? He he, have to switch it up once in awhile. The embossing is done with a new Sizzix folder and the dp is Cosmo Cricket Mitten Weather. I think the gold accents are a nice touch.
Don't forget to leave comments during the hop, you could win a grab bag full of stamp goodies! Your next stop on the hop is Anita!

I'm back (and have a card to share!)
I'm not quite 100% yet but I'm back! Still coughing up a storm but otherwise am feeling okay finally.
This is the first of 10 cards that I made yesterday at the crop and it's for this week's Paper Cutz Challenge! Create a LO, card or project for Halloween using stars, circles, diamonds or crescents. I've got some circle gems and I used my EK Success star border punch.

While I was at the crop, I did shop LOL! Tim Holtz has some super neat embossing folders out and I got a Halloween set and a Christmas set. The one used above is called Halloween Words, thought it was so cool! The paper (Echo Park Paper Company) and cardstock are from the Taylored Expressions Halloween project pantry kit and the image is from the TE Trick or Sweet set, I was able to make 6 cards altogether using the images from the set. I'll be showing them all week!
I used this sketch from Taylored Expressions~

Are you enjoying World Card Making Day? I'm trying to...this cold is slowing me down!
I did make a layout earlier, you'll see that tomorrow morning :)
Danni issued a challenge to me yesterday...to use some of the many digi stamps I have printed! She will have a few cards posted tomorrow, so be sure to check her out HERE.
This is the stack of digis I pulled out this morning...think I have enough to choose from? LOL

I decided to pick an image from the top of the stack, Island Pixie from Pixie Dust Studio - they have so many more cute images since the last time I visited, eek! I need to use, use, use and not buy, buy, buy!

Here is a close up of the sparkle, shine & paper piercing ~ another eek, it's not showing up too well, hopefully if you click on it, you can see it...

Knowing full well I couldn't go with a digi only challenge, I went to my challenge list and incorporated a few more~
ESS #102 ~ sketch
Flutter By Wednesday #124 ~ sparkle & shimmer plus butterfly, fairy or angel
Hanna & Friends #64 ~ So Dotty
365 Cards ~ The 3 P's ~ Polka dots, paper piercing (on the brown piece under the scalloped area), pop dots
Paper Sundaes #37 ~ Things with Wings
Alphabet Challenge - W is for Wings
