Basic Grey Bunnies

I have to say that I love how these cards turned out...I wasn't sure about using non-holiday paper with Easter cards, but I think they look neat.

This first one is my favorite, I've always loved this image and since I got a few in a swap, I've been holding them hostage LOL

This one is a teensy bit boring, but I did try to dress up the background paper with a new toy I recently got, a Viva Decor Pearl Pen, it's pretty cool!

Both cards are made with sketches from Midnight Madness. I love their new CAS versions.

CRAFT Challenge #32 - Easter
Hanna & Friends #37 - Easter
Paper Play Challenges #12 - Easter

Ribbons & Cake!

For the last few weeks, I've been looking through old Creating Keepsakes magazines at lunch time, I have found lots of inspiration to finally start using.

I saw a card like this in one of the issues and just knew I had to replicate it! Their card was all ribbon but I knew for a birthday card, I had to add cake since no birthday is complete without cake LOL!

This yummalicious cake is from Jane's Bakery set at Squigglefly, illustrated by artist Jane Beljo. I am entering my card into the following challenges: Charisma Cardz #8 (birthday card and it must include a candle -check!), C.R.A.F.T. Challenge #39 (Ribbon & Sparkle - check & check (candle & plate are sparkly), and last but not least Cute Card Thursday #101 (Ribbon-tastic! - I think I've got that one covered lol!!)

Did you check out Squigglefly's new releases yesterday? If not, get over there, new images for Easter and Spring are out. Next weekend there will be a mini release of paper and images.

Card Supplies
Stamp: Jane's Bakery ~ Squigglefly
Copics: Y35, BG01, E27
Other: American Crafts ribbon, glossy accents, spica glitter pens

I'll be back throughout the day with more cards to share!

Hearts Galore

February is off to such a slow start for me! It's the 7th and I've only made 4 cards and 3 of those were today.

This weekend our 'theme' weekend was to use scraps, I hardly made a dent in mine! Here is the first card using the Mojo124 sketch. I love all the layers :)

The dp is all scraps of DCWV paper from one of my many stacks and the stamp is from the CTMH set Love You. You can't tell in the picture but I popped the stamped heart on micro pop dots to give it just a little dimension.

I am also entering this card in the following challenges:
The Pink Elephant #52 - All About Pink
Creative Card Crew #44 - Valentines
Charisma Cardz #5 - I Love You
Stamp Somethings - Love Somethings
C.R.A.F.T. Challenges #36 - Love/Valentines

Here is the sketch:

Check out what the rest of the Weekend Crew has been making with their scraps. Links are on my right sidebar!
