This week it's an open challenge, just remember to include a butterfly, fairy or angel on your creation.  You can click {HERE} to enter your project and check out our sponsor, Delicious Doodles!

We were provided with images to use, however, I encountered some technical difficulties printing mine.  So I decided to whip up a quick bookmark to share. I can never have enough of these on hand!

Enjoy the Ride - PCC #84

TGIF!  I am a happy happy person today! It's Friday AND last night my husband booked our belated honeymoon/1 year anniversary trip to DISNEY for September!!!!!!!!! I went to Magic Kingdom once back in 2000 and he's never been at all so it will definitely be a magical trip!

Back to the reason you are here - PaperCutz Challenge #84!  We'd like to see your cards, layouts or projects using 3 patterned papers with any colors/themes you'd like!

Here is my take~
I've had this card done for almost a month now with the exception of the buttons on it...when I had the bright idea to make a bunch of cards using the PTI Everday Button Bits set, I forgot to pack buttons LOL! So I'm slowly finishing them up now that I found buttons to match (BG Jovial collection!)

All of the paper is from the TE July kit using KI Memories Paisley Parade paper.  The ribbon and pearls came from the TE store.  I used my Labels 9 nestabilities to cut/layer the image. I used the February Sketch for You to Try for the layout.

To play along with PaperCutz, please click HERE!

Also, I'm entering this into Clear It Out's challenge #2 - Buttons!

Fairy Sweet

I’m back with my 2nd post for today, so scroll down to check out my Lasting Memories layout!

I was awake much earlier than I needed to be so I scrolled through the Sunday challenges and saw this fun inspiration picture for CIC70 at Cupcake Inspirations….anyone have a cupcake handy? I’m hungry after looking at it LOL!

CIC70

Here is my take~

CIC70 edited

I do believe I’m getting the hang of these inspiration challenges. As soon as I saw Tinkerbell, I thought of this adorable fairy Jolinne from MFT. Isn’t she sweet?  The designer paper (in my fave colors!) is from the Basic Grey Olivia collection.  I cut out the flowers with my Blossoms Two nestabilities and crinkled them before stamping a sentiment from the set.  Jolinne is colored with copics (E00, R20, E25, E29, YG25, RV11, RV14) and her wings were painted with Fairy Dust Creative Inspirations paint.

Have a great day!

Time for another Flutter By Wednesday!

Today's challenge is brought to us by Kris and she would like us to use flowers in addition to our butterfly, fairy or angel! I love flowers so this was a fun challenge for me!

I decided to break out of the bellas just a tad bit by using an uninked stamp from the Lulu line at Stamping Bella. Isn't she cute? I decided to incorporate last week's challenge too by paper piecing her skirt. This card makes me happy when I look at it, I am loving the bright, fun colors!

I used this week's sketch from Stamping 411 for the layout~

Arigatou

You are probably wondering what that means! I learned earlier this week that it means Thank You in Japanese. It is a new digi image being released tomorrow by a brand new artist at Squigglefly, Michelle Bertuzzi!

I love the design in the middle of the wording and that circle that can be embellished with buttons, brads, bling.

I used a sketch from Magical Crafts.

Be sure to check out Squigglefly in the morning for all the new releases! Lots of new cool digis are coming out!

Today's challenge is to use doodling with your Squigglefly image. If you don't have any yet, there are plenty of freebies on the site to play with.

I used Angie Davis' adorable Wise Owl image on my card. I've had him on my desk for weeks and thought he'd be so cute paired up with the Basic Grey Origins paper. The layout is SC275.

Moody for Rock

*Scroll down to see my Flutter By Wednesday card*

Good afternoon! I am so excited to have a snow day today so I can play in my craftroom.

The first card I made uses a very special stamp. Her name is Moody for Rock and she is a digi stamp from Paper Makeup Stamps. Why is she special? Katie released her to help out one of her dear PMS Makeup Artists, Gabby Arriaza. You can read more about this stamp on the PMS blog, HERE.

I had such a fun time putting this card together. The paper is from the DCWV Rock Queen stack and I was inspired to use lots of sparkle by the card that Danni made using this stamp.

I even decorated the inside a little bit so I can use one of the word arts released along with the Moody stamp.

Card Supplies:
Stamp: Moody for Rock, You Rock My World ~ both by Paper Makeup Stamps
Paper: DCWV Rock Queen stack
Copics: E00, E35, E37, BG01, N7, RV34, RV95, R29
Other: Labels 3 & Labels 8 Nestabilities, stardust pen, kaisercraft pearls, EK Success scalloped border punch

Thanks for looking! Off for some lunch and then back to the craft table!

I'm a little teacup...

When I saw the new line of Teacup Girls at Stamping Bella, I just had to get a few.

This is Scarlett the Teacup Girl and I thought she was perfect to use with the CCEE sketch this week and the Divine Diva Inspiration Challenge :)

Here is the sketch from CCEE -

I started out with a square, but I tried using various border punches and they wouldn't cut through so I cut it down to a standard size card.

Here is the Divine Diva inspiration -

Check out this post HERE to see who else is participating in Danni's Stamping Bella weekend, there is inspiration all over the place :)

Card Supplies:
Stamp: Scarlett the Teacup Girl ~ Stamping Bella
