Odette for Mojo Monday #242

This is my 3rd post today. If you would like to see what else I've created, scroll down :)

Hi again!

I am having so much fun creating tonight!  This is my 4th card using the Basic Grey Scarlet's Letter paper pad. 2 more images to go and I think I'll still have lots of paper left over. Thinking I should start making some 'scrap' cards with the leftovers. I've got a board on Pinterest dedicated to those types of cards.

I paired up Odette from The Greeting Farm with the Mojo Monday #242 sketch.

For the border piece under the image, I used a negative from the chevron stripes I used on my last card :)

Here is the sketch~

Supplies~
Stamps: Odette from The Greeting Farm
Paper: Basic Grey Scarlet's Letter
Cardstock: green (PTI), red (misc. from my stash)
Ink: Memento, copics
Other: Kaisercraft pearl, MFT Die-namics Pretty Posies

I Spy Sketches #17

This is my 2nd post for today. Scroll down if you'd like to see my wedding layout! :)

Today has been such a wonderful day!  We had a great time at my parents with my sisters and their kiddies.  Lots of food and fun!

I'm here to share card #3 that I've made with the Basic Grey Scarlet's Letter paper pad.  I used yesterday's sketch at I Spy Sketches. Their sketches are always fun and I hope to play along more often.  The sample card that the sketch was based off used chevrons so it was just the inspiration I needed to use my MFT Chevron Stripes Die-namics for the first time!

Here's the sketch~

Supplies~
Stamp: The Greeting Farm (sorry I don't recall her name!), hello from a Paper Smooches set (I added part of a line to the h since it looked like nello LOL!)
Paper: Basic Grey Scarlet's Letter
Cardstock: misc from my stash
Ink: Memento, copics
Other: Lemon Ice stickles, MFT Chervron Stripes Die-namics, cuttlebug embossing folder

Stamping Anya

It's Stamping Anya! I've stamped her a bunch of times but don't recall ever putting her on a card LOL! I thought I'd have a bit of fun with her and use the Bo Bunny Ad Lib paper again.

The layout is TECC42 and I'm entering her into Creative Card Crew's May Flowers challenge

Angel Anya for FBW #138

Today's Flutter By Wednesday challenge is an open one! Just remember to include a butterfly, fairy or angel on your creation. You can enter it HERE and for some inspiration please visit my fellow DT members, links on my left sidebar!

I've been making lists of all my stamps (scary!!!) and came across Angel Anya who hadn't seen ink yet (she was so sad too!). I pulled out my DCWV Linen Closet stack once again, it's perfect for this lovely Anya. I paper pieced her dress with one of the tiny scraps I've been saving (see you really can use those for something!)

I used SC315 for the layout, so many possibilities with this one. Will definitely save it for future use!

Card Supplies~
Stamps: Angel Anya ~ The Greeting Farm, Everyday Sayings ~ Hero Arts
Paper: DCWV Linen Closet stack, Georgia Pacific cardstock
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Colorbox Chalk Creamy Brown
Copics: E00, E35, E37, E39, BG13
Other: gold & diamond stickles, fiskars apron lace border punch

I'll be back later this morning with the Taylored Expressions Blast from the Past blog hop!

I have to admit that I was a little intimidated when Danni sent this picture...I don't usually do well with these types of challenges, but then I remembered I have Fairy Chloe from The Greeting Farm and I thought she'd be perfect, especially using this week's Mojo Monday layout.

The Pink Elephant #50

No, it's not a Stamping Bella...but I'll be back later with some more of those! I picked out sketches, images and paper before going to bed last night. It should make card making go a wee bit faster today!

I wanted to make sure I shared this Pink Elephant sketch challenge card since a new challenge is posted tomorrow. I created it one night last week and have been lax in getting it to the blog.

I used my new Greeting Farm Princess Anya along with Basic Grey Bittersweet paper :) I love how the pink and black looks together.

Here is the sketch -

Stamps: Princess Anya ~ The Greeting Farm
Paper: Basic Grey Bittersweet, CTMH Black
Ink: Memento
Copics: E00, E02, E35, E37

Happy 2010!

I have 3 cards to show you using Toby New Year from The Greeting Farm. I think he is just too cute! I wanted to show all three on the same post so you can see how one stamp can be used multiple ways. To keep the post a little shorter, I have provided links to the sketches used instead of showing them as I usually do.

First up is the one I created today -

I am entering this card in the following challenges:
Clearly iStamp - Let's get Bradilicious
If the Shoe Fits Fashionista Friday #16 - 10 of one embellishment

I'm not sure I ever used so many brads at once! For the ribbon I just used glue dots and folded it in half and then attached the flower on top.

The layout is TESC95.

Card #2 was created yesterday -

I used Sketch #5 from the Anyone for Anya blog.

Last, but not least, the 3rd card was created New Year's Eve -

I used Sketch #12 from The Pink Elephant challenge blog. It was fun to make a long card and wow, look at that fiber - dug waaaaaaaaaaaay out of my stash!

The New Year's paper used on all the cards is from Treehouse Designs - bought at an LSS who knows when LOL! I found it when I was unpacking last weekend!

I used a lot of different products to make these, if you have any specific questions email me or leave them in the comments section!

Thanks so much for looking :)

Flutter By Wednesday #80

Its the 80th Flutter By Wednesday today! Are you ready to flutter with us?

No special challenge this week, just create something using a butterfly or fairy!

Today I am sharing Flutterby Anya with you. She was sent to me by the Queen Flutter By herself, Ms. Danni, isn't she cute!

I used SK091909 - a Paper Craft Planet sketch. I just love using sketches, they are a great starting point when I have no idea what I want to do. I used Labels Four Nestabilities to frame Anya and I edged her with SU Tempting Turquoise ink. She's colored with Copics (E00, R11, RV11, RV14, B02, E25, E27, Y35) and covered in Star Dust stickles. I wanted to use my spica pens, but I haven't a clue which box they are packed in. The dp is Basic Grey Urban Prairie, when I decided on my image, I knew I wanted her to be bright and fun!

Be sure to link to Danni's blog if you play along and visit my dear flutter by mates, links on the left sidebar!

In other exciting news, I have started painting my scraproom! I just love the pink I picked out, is Eddie Bauer Light Pink from Lowes. The trim will still be brown, just a shade lighter than what it is now.

Some more eye candy for you...these were taken at Kent Falls in Kent, CT a few weeks ago.
Thanks for stopping by!
