Here is my creation ~ a layout of my niece. Pictures are from my bridal shower last August. While I was opening gifts, she decided to go play in my friend's dog's toy bin and I had my sister snap a few pics.

The layout is based on an old Sassy Lil Sketches layout, I had it printed in my crop file and didn't write the date of the sketch on it. The paper is from the My Mind's Eye So Sophie line. I had fun mixing and matching the patterns that were included in the collection. The flowers and butterfly are from Prima.

Lasting Memories Challenge - Journaling

Well the day has just gotten away from me! I've been a busy girl doing more organizing in my scraproom. Someday I might get it picture ready to share on here! 

Today's Lasting Memories challenge is all about Journaling.  Do you like to journal? A lot or a little?  I'm one that only does a little bit...most of my pictures don't require lengthy stories about them. 

Here is my take on the challenge.  The journaling is a little blurry to read - it says 'Every year I like to buy a few new ornaments for our tree. This year's additions came from Kohl's. It might be a little obvious that I like sweet treats.'

Happy Anniversary!

Wooohooooo, it's Friday!!!

After work, I am going to pick up my wedding gown!!! So very excited...the wedding is 3 WEEKS from TOMORROW!! So much to do still too!

This is a card I created last weekend for my mom & stepdad's 21st wedding anniversary. I think it came out so pretty thanks to this lovely Linen Closet stack from Die Cuts with a View. I need to figure out how to make the sparkle show up better in pictures, the 2 bottom panels are glittery paper, as is the brad. The card was well received when we had them over for dinner on Monday.
