Happy Wednesday!
We were so happy to see so many fluttery entries last week. It's good to be back! I enjoyed fluttering around seeing so much inspiration!
This week's Flutter By Wednesdays challenge is to use BRIGHT COLORS along with your butterfly, fairy or angel. Please enter your creation {HERE}. To see what the FBW team did with bright colors, visit the links on the FBW blog or the links on my sidebar.
Here is my take on the challenge~
I think I achieved the bright alright! LOL! I used my Cosmo Cricket Delovely 6x6 pad and Papertrey Ink black cardstock along with one of my favorite butterfly punches :)
I used this week's CPS sketch for inspiration. I couldn't find my corner rounder so I decided to tear and ink the edges of the 4 square panel. I also popped up each square with pop dots but didn't end up taking a picture to show off the dimension.
I am also sharing my card with the following challenge:
Shopping Our Stash #34 - All That Glitters, Sparkles or Shines - everything on my card is from older stash and I'm glad I found these rhinestones that shine :)
Thanks for fluttering by!

Playing for fun!
It's been awhile since I've played for fun. I always make time to get my DT stuff done but not enough time to take part in other challenges. Instead of cleaning my room tonight I decided it was time to play!
I incorporated 3 challenges into this card~
Paper Makeup Stamps is having a Sizzlin' Summer Colors challenge and I pulled out Danni's Flutterbies so I could play along with The Pink Elephant's Butterflies challenge and I was inspired by this week's sketch at Techno Stamper~
Products Used:
Danni's Flutterbies & Little Moments by Paper Makeup Stamps
Georgia Pacific cardstock
Beach Babe dp by Fancy Pants
Memento Tuxedo Black ink
Colorbox Chalk Ink - Warm Red & Tangerine
ribbon from stash

Birthday Sundaes #17 - A Summery Color Challenge!
Good morning!! I hope you are enjoying your weekend, I am!
Today's Birthday Sundaes challenge is to create a birthday card using the colors orange, green & white! As always, a birthday sentiment/greeting is required on your card front. Click HERE to play along and check out all the awesome design team samples!
I'll admit I really stumped myself with this challenge and I'm the one that came up with it LOL! I was going to use popsicles but ended up using them on Friday's card. Thankfully inspiration kicked in and I was able to create a card that I love.
I started with Papertrey Ink Simply Chartreuse cardstock and embossed it with a Cuttlebug folder. Then I punched a bunch of different butterflies from scraps of American Crafts Everyday designer papers and some scraps of white cardstock. I adhered them all with Diamond Glaze and added Basic Grey Bling it rhinestones and EK Success Halloween gems. The sentiment is from an old Sweet 'N Sassy stamps set.

Anything Goes for PaperCutz #89!
TGIF!!!
So who is watching the Royal Wedding?? As I type this up on Thursday night, I haven't decided if I'm going to get up a little early just to see the wedding part and skip all the arrivals. Although at the rate I've been sleeping this week, I may be up really early anyways!
Anyways, the reason you are here - the new PaperCutz challenge for today is the ever popular Anything Goes! That's right any card, layout or project can be entered! I chose to do a 2 page layout for my Magic Wings book. I used another layout from the Got Sketch class - 2 down, 8 to go!

Flutter By Wednesday #147
Halfway to the weekend, yay! Although it's going to be coooooooold here, not spring like at all!!!
Today's FBW challenge is an open one - just remember to include a butterfly, fairy or angel! Link your creation up HERE and check out all the DT inspiration - links on my sidebar.
I always find these open weeks difficult - so many stamps, so little time! I finally settled on using my Simply Special stamp from Paper Pretties. I won it in Danni's FBW Birthday Blowout candy back in September and it hadn't seen ink yet.
I love how this turned out! The layout is from this week's Paper Craft Planet sketch. I did change it from a square to standard size card since the paper I used was 4.5x6.5 versus 6x6.

Flutter By Wednesday #146
Happy Wednesday!
Today's Flutter By Wednesday's challenge is to use green and/or a sketch by Carly, along with a butterfly, fairy or angel! You can see the sketch HERE on the FBW challenge blog.
I decided to do the green challenge. I was moving things around in my room and found these Poppyseed papers by K & Company, perfect for what I had in mind!
The pretty daffodills are from the Digi Doodle Shop, a newer to me digi company. I've had them printed out for weeks and since spring is on my mind, here they are finally on a card!
To join in the challenge, please click HERE and for more inspiration, please visit the other DT members, links on my left sidebar!

To Sew or Not to Sew?
Today's Lasting Memories Challenge is sewing!
I do not sew...that's one crafty talent that I do not possess, lucky for me real or faux sewing/stitching goes. I searched through my stash and came upon some DCWV stitching rub-ons. Score!
So here is my challenge layout~

Very clean and simple...the picture is another from Magic Wings. Paper is from the My Mind's Eye Bohemia collection. Title is made from Thickers.
To play along and see what the rest of the team created, please check out the Lasting Memories blog!

Lasting Memories Challenge #11
Good morning!
I hope you all are enjoying your weekend. I started on prednisone (steroids) yesterday, so hopefully this cough will be gone soon! Yesterday my DH and I spent the day shopping - new clothes for both of us and some frames & art for our dining room. It was a lovely day
Today's Lasting Memories Challenge is to MAKE handmade flowers and use them on your layout. I did not follow the directions, oops - we can blame that on being sick all this time right? LOL
The flowers are my page are from THIS Etsy shop - so cute!! Not too easy to stick though - any suggestions? I've got glue dots on the leaves and pop dots on the flowers but they are all ready to fall off :/
The paper is from the Basic Grey Perhaps line and the pictures are more for my Magic Wings album...4 years later and I'm still working on it LOL
To play along, please enter your challenge HERE and check out the rest of the inspiration from the design team!

Lasting Memories Challenge #3
Happy August! Wow, it doesn't seem possible that this much of the year has gone by already!!
Today I have a layout to show you for Lasting Memories's 3rd challenge ~
- Add a stamped image to your layout (this can be one image or making your own background, whatever you like)
I just love my page for this challenge! The pictures are from Magic Wings - a butterfly pavillion I visited with my mother almost 3 years ago...no title/dates since I've already done a bunch of pages for this album (and still have more to go lol!) I have a chart showing the different butterflies that are at the pavillion but I couldn't find one of them to write on the layout.

I am also entering this layout into the Flutter By Wednesday #115 since it's an open week!
Supplies~
Stamps: quote from Happiness of Butterfly ~ Stampin Up!, Tilda with Butterfly ~ Magnolia Stamps
Paper: Bohemia by My Mind's Eye
Ink: Memento
Copics: E00, R20, YG03, YG23, B14, B24, B26, E29, E25
Other: Martha Stewart butterfly punches, ranger white ink pen, Sundance smooch

Here is another card I created over the weekend in the midst of Bella fest!
This is Flower Lili from Inky Impressions. I thought she would look great paired with BG Green at Heart!

I used Tracy's sketch from this past Thursday for the layout...was going to keep it a circle and then found some big flowers and thought one of those would look cool! And of course I had to add a few butterflies!
Card Details~
Stamps: Flower Lili ~ Inky Impressions
Paper: BG Green at Heart
Ink: Memento
Copics: E00, BG01, RV34, V06, E29, E27, E41, YR16, E25, B95, B97, B99

Smile
Butterflies make me smile, so when I saw this stamp from the CC Designs line at All That Scraps, I just had to have it!

I paper pieced this cutie a few weeks ago and finally made a card using it today. The colors are for a challenge I hosted on one of the yahoo groups I belong to - purple, white & gray. It sounded easier than it was lol. The layout is the sketch challenge for this week over at For Fun Challenges, mine isn't exact, but I think it's pretty close :)

Card Supplies~
Stamps: Butterfly Baby Bunnies ~ CC Designs; Celebration of Thanks ~ Verve Stamps
Paper: Basic Grey Kioshi
Ink: Memento
Copics: RV32, V15, Y32, ROO
Other: MS monarch butterfly punch, Recollections pearls, Stampendous fun flock, cuttlebug folder, ribbon ~ Michaels, Marvy Extra Giga scallop oval punch, Zig writer, Tombow glue pen, lilac spica pen
I hope you all had a good weekend! It was great here, just too short!!!

Good morning! It's a snowy Wednesday here in my part of New England.

SC219 & Stamp Simply #79
I created these cards a few weeks ago and haven't had a chance to post them until now. They are some of my favorite cards that I've created recently. I saved the pink based one so I can frame it and have some of my art on my walls
The stamp is from a set of 4 wood mounted butterflies from Hero Arts. Its a set that I bought forever ago and am finally using.
The sketch is SC219 which you can find HERE and I also used a challenge from the No Time to Stamp? blog. I find the neatest challenges here. This is challenge #79 - You've Been Tabbed. I love how the ribbon tabs look and will definitely try it again!

The Recipe:
Stamps: Two Butterflies Fig 1 ~ Hero Arts
Paper: GP, Porcelain ~ Basic Grey
Ink: Tuxedo Black ~ Memento, Copics ~ R20 & YR82
Accessories: ribbon ~ Joanns

Butterfly Layouts
Here are a few layouts I did over the weekend for an online crop. The pictures were taken at Magic Wings in Deerfield, MA back in September 2006.
This is a Tithorea butterfly. I used Basic Grey Perhaps line for the paper and Thickers for the title. The ribbon is from American Crafts as are the brads. You can see the original sketch HERE.
This is a mix of butterflies, I labeled most of them. The paper is the Bohemia line from My Mind's Eye. You can see the original sketch HERE.
This is an Indian Leaf butterfly. One of my favorites from that day. It was quite the challenge getting pictures of it! You can see the original sketch HERE.

This is a Postman butterfly (on the statue). No sketch used! I kept it simple so the paper wasn't covered. up. More MME Bohemia and Thickers.
And this is one of my favorite layouts from the weekend. No sketch used! Paper is from the MME Bohemia line. The title was one of the crop challenges and I used thickers to spell it out. I used my new Martha Stewart butterfly punch to dress up the layout a bit. I just love how it turned out.
Thanks for looking!!

I {heart} to Stamp with a little bit of flutterby
I made this card for February's Aloha RAK group...I used two challenges to create the card.
The sketch is from yesterday's I {heart} to Stamp Sketch for You to Try and used more yummy dp from the Basic Grey Sultry line.
I also wanted to do Danni's Flutter by Wednesday #44...the challenge was to use a butterfly, sparkle and buttons. Hopefully you can see the sparkle on her shirt and the butterflies, I used the copic spica clear pen and its not showing up as well as I had hoped!

And the copics:
The Recipe:
Stamps: Butterflyabella (Stamping Bella)
Paper: Georgia Pacific, Sultry (Basic Grey)
Ink: Tuxedo Black (Memento)
Accessories: Copics, clear spica pen, butterfly punch (EK Success), ribbon (Michaels), buttons (misc.)
