Challenge Me Sunday!

I'm finally feeling well enough to sit at my desk again, yay! However, my coloring skills need work after not using my copics much in the last 3 weeks.

I made this card for a few challenges ~ although I just realized I was too late for one of them, oops!

I finally inked up Jami from the Hearts & Hugs Series 2 Collection from Victoria Case for SCACD. All of the paper and embellishments are from the Pet's Place Project Pantry Kit from Taylored Expressions.

A Hop for the kickoff of Lasting Memories!

Good morning and Happy 4th of July!

The first challenge is to create a layout using red, white & blue theme. Here is my creation ~

I had such a fun time putting this layout together. I drew a sketch of what I wanted to do the other day and was so pleased that it turned out just the way I envisioned! The large star was cut from the Cricut (George & Basic Shapes cartridge) and the 'firecrackers' were embossed with the Cuttlebug stars embossing folder. The 'New Haven' was cut from the Cuttin' Up cricut cartridge.

Dust off your stamps & my news!

The wait is over...I can share my news!

I have been chosen to be a design team member for For Fun Challenges! Thank you so much for this opportunity, Helen!

This week's challenge is to dust off your stamps (no digis allowed) and to include the following recipe: 1 image, 2 colors with white or black, and 3 embellies!

I dusted off one of my favorite Stamping Bella stamps to use for today's challenge. I've been neglecting the bellas for far too long!

I used up some scraps (except for the red) from a bunch of cards I made this weekend, and no sketch, how about that! LOL

Butterflies make me smile, so when I saw this stamp from the CC Designs line at All That Scraps, I just had to have it!


I paper pieced this cutie a few weeks ago and finally made a card using it today. The colors are for a challenge I hosted on one of the yahoo groups I belong to - purple, white & gray. It sounded easier than it was lol. The layout is the sketch challenge for this week over at For Fun Challenges, mine isn't exact, but I think it's pretty close :)
