The Mother of All Blog Hops!

Welcome to the TSG Mother of All Blog Hops! I hope you are enjoying seeing all the fabulous TSG creations!

If you've arrived here from Holly's blog, then you are in the right place! If not, please start at the There She Goes blog.

I am sharing a card from the very cool set, Loads of Fun, my absolute favorite TSG set!

ETA: I decided to add this card, thought it was a little too funky, but my wonderful fiance assured me it wasn't...although he won't agree to let me have some fun polka dot appliances LOL!

This is the inside, I used up some scraps and added another fun sentiment from the set!

Fun tip: The polka dots on the green paper were made with an eraser!

Thanks so much for hopping by! Your next stop on the hop is Candice!

Flutter By Wednesday #108

Happy Wednesday!

Today's challenge is an open one as long as you have a butterfly, fairy or angel on your creation. We are being sponsored by Meljen's Designs this week and to find out what you can win, be sure to visit the Flutter By Wednesdays blog!

Meljen's Designs generously donated digis for our team to play with, I chose to use Pixie Dust Fairy for my card. I kept it pretty simple to show off this adorable fairy. The sentiment is from The Wild Flower Patch.

For more inspiration please visit my fellow team members listed on my sidebar, and to enter your new creation using a butterfly, fairy or angel, please link it to Flutter By Wednesday blog.

Have a great day!

Fiesta Bear

Fiesta Bear is all ready for Cinco de Mayo, are you??

I've had this little guy for awhile and kept meaning to get a card made sooner...there's still time to use him if you hand deliver your cards, he he. He is illustrated by Lynne Stansbery for Squigglefly.

I used this week's Card Patterns sketch ~

I'm also entering these challenges ~
Aly's Sunday Challenge #16 - Animal Hugs
Allsorts #50 - Animals

Hope your Monday was great! I'll be back tomorrow night with more creations from the weekend.

Smile

Butterflies make me smile, so when I saw this stamp from the CC Designs line at All That Scraps, I just had to have it!

I paper pieced this cutie a few weeks ago and finally made a card using it today. The colors are for a challenge I hosted on one of the yahoo groups I belong to - purple, white & gray. It sounded easier than it was lol. The layout is the sketch challenge for this week over at For Fun Challenges, mine isn't exact, but I think it's pretty close :)

Card Supplies~
Stamps: Butterfly Baby Bunnies ~ CC Designs; Celebration of Thanks ~ Verve Stamps
Paper: Basic Grey Kioshi
Ink: Memento
Copics: RV32, V15, Y32, ROO

I hope you all had a good weekend! It was great here, just too short!!!

NSD - Part 2

Well I ended up being out most of the day so I only got one card done...but I made it count for 3 challenges :)

In the Scrappin-n-Chattin yahoo group, we are doing a EDCC (everyday card challenge) for 14 days. Today's prompt was to use a stamp we've been wanting to use - I've had this Bouquet Bear on my desk for months, time to give him a home on a card!

On the Squigglefly SNR group, Holly issued a challenge to use glitter on a card. My spica pens glittered those flowers right up!

The layout is for SC278 over at the Card Sketch forum on Splitcoast Stampers.

Card Supplies ~
Stamps: Shybear Bouquet Bear ~ Squigglefly; Everyday Sayings ~ Hero Arts
Paper: Basic Grey Eva
Ink: Memento
Copics: RV13, RV14, Y15, V12, V15, V17, YG25, E35, N0, N2
Other: spica pens, SU corner rounder, Basic Grey Opaline pearls

Hope you all did at least one thing scrappy today!

Happy National Scrapbook Day!!!

I think it's so very cool that us scrappers have a special day!

I have a special page to share with you today. Sketches! by Tamara asked for volunteers on their facebook fan page and I was one of the chosen ones to help out with a NSD challenge. How very exciting for me!

The challenge I was chosen for, along with my friend Kim (woohoo!), is the recipe challenge.
These three elements needed to be incorporated ~
  • N - Number
  • S - Stitching (first time I've EVER stitched on something, thanks Bazzill In Stitch'z)
  • D - Die Cut (tree was cut with Cricut Cartridge Serenade, love that cart!!)
These pictures are from the first day of spring in our yard this year. It's our first spring here, so it was very exciting for me to have flowers blooming and getting to spend time outdoors here :)

Check out Sketches! by Tamara to see the other challenges throughout today, I'm looking forward to the sketch one! It's a beautiful day here, so we are going for a hike and then I'll be back at my craft table.

Have a great day!
