Wow, May certainly FLEW by!!!

I found a whole slew of cards that I never shared...I'll only post a few for you and save the rest for another time. (hopefully they are new lol...I couldn't find them in any posts that I looked through!)

These were all made with the Baby Button Bits set from Papertrey Ink. Loooove this set and can't wait to try the Everday Button Bits set that's been sitting on my desk.

Flutter By Wednesday #111

Sniffle...sniffle...

It's the last Flutter By Wednesday until July...it seems so far away, but I know the time will pass by quickly! We also say goodbye to some of our team members - Christine, Debby, Karen, Kris, and Lelia. I will miss working with you ladies, but I'll still be stalking your blogs!

Our last challenge for May is an open one, please be sure to have a
butterfly, fairy or angel on your creation!

Since this is the last challenge for a month, I decided to pull out one of my very special stamps - Little Danni with Flutterby by Victoria Case for SCACD. She got inked up for the very first time, hopefully I did her justice! I am so excited about the dp too - it's the Quite Contrary line by My Mind's Eye. I got it the other day and couldn't wait to cut into it, it's a nice quality weight and double sided - woohoo!

(Please excuse my poor coloring in some spots...not sure why my markers kept bleeding outside the lines.)

I used Mercy's Tuesday Sketch for this week, rotated to accommodate Little Danni and in place of the flower, of course I had to add a flutterby!

If you'd like to play along, please link your new creation to the Flutter By Wednesday blog, also check out the new blog design while you are there! It is so awesome!! For more inspiration, please visit my fellow team members, links on my left sidebar.

Scrappy Saturday!

I had a nice lazy day today and participated in an online crop hosted by one of the yahoo groups I belong to.

All pictures are from a trip to a sunflower maze back in September 2008. You can see the first pages I scrapped of it HERE.

The above layout is based on a sketch that Cherie of Sassy Lil Sketches drew for our group, I love the mixtures of patterned papers!

This 2 page layout was based on a Pencil Lines sketch shown below ~ click the picture if you want a closer look.

All papers are from the Lemon Grass collection by Crate Paper, love this stuff. Looking forward to using the scraps on cards!

TFL, hope you are all having a great weekend!
