May LOAD - Day 21

Here is last night's page. I so love how it came out!

I've had these pictures pulled out to scrap for a week or so. I came across Sketch #6 that I saved from Artful Delight for their 14 Days of Sketches and I stopped hoarding my May kit long enough to scrap these pics.  I really love the bright colors & fun patterns from the Echo Park Summer Days collection.

I love scrapping pictures of my nieces! They are such fun and cute subjects :)

LOAD - Day 10

Not my best page ever but it's another one done...

Long day/night and I didn't have time or energy to do much, not ready to throw the towel in yet either lol (I'm stubborn like that!)

I used today's Artful Delight sketch which you can see HERE.

May LOAD - Day 8

Whew...I made it. I have such a headache tonight that I was ready to throw in the towel. I'm glad I didn't as the page I made is super cute (and I am determined not to fail this challenge!)

This is a picture that I snagged from my sister's computer awhile ago. I thumbed through a bunch of different pics tonight and picked this one when I found a sketch that would work. As I was contemplating paper choices, I remembered that my Artful Delight kit came yesterday and it was perfect for what I had in mind as this new week for LOAD focuses on color. The sketch is #8 from the 14 days of sketches at Artful Delight.

Everything is from the Echo Park Summer Days collection and is all from the kit except for the Thickers. The bright fun colors make me happy :) and I can't wait to use it again!

Please click HERE for my Birthday Sundaes post or scroll down!

Today's Lasting Memories challenge is to create a spring themed layout. So many possibilities with this challenge and you'll definitely want to play along for a chance to win an awesome prize!  We are being sponsored by Artful Delight, a fantastic monthly kit company. Karen also has a surprise announcement! You can check out all the details on the Lasting Memories blog.

Here is my take on the challenge. I created a blank layout for the flowers that haven't yet bloomed in our side yard. I've been impatiently waiting for weeks now LOL!  I used some new products - the My Mind's Eye Mabel line which is just so pretty! I love the colors :)

Artful Delight is celebrating and a page to share!

Artful Delight is celebrating their one year anniversary and you can win some awesome blog candy. Check it out HERE.  I am a subscriber and I just LOVE these kits. You get a lot of product and can make a ton of projects! Thanks to my friends April & Abby for pointing me in the direction of this awesome kit company!

Here is a page I made using March's kit~everything came from the kit except the bling at the bottom and the tiny type stickers. I had fun distressing the 'hike' letters and the leaf!
