Ooo what did I get?

I created this double page layout last night for my Weeks #12 & 13 of the SNC 52 Week Challenge.  I'm still in the contest...I had to use passes 2 weeks in a row, hopefully I can keep up from now on!

More pictures from Christmas 2010.  Journaling reads "Amber was a very spoiled puppy on her 1st Christmas! She sniffed each and every gift before she started playing.

I used this sketch from SCS - SBSC142.  I mirrored the right side to make the layout match.

Supplies:
Paper ~TE Choice Buttercream cardstock. Basic Grey Jovial
Other ~ Basic Grey Jovial brads, ribbon from stash, Thickers

Let's Get Sketchy #4

I created this page the other night for this week's Let's Get Sketchy #4 challenge~

Here is a close up of the journaling  and some of the bling I added to the paper. Journaling reads "Amber is so happy posing for Christmas pictures in her new dress".

All paper and embellishments are from the Basic Grey Jovial line, with the exception of the rhinestones, pearls & thickers.

Birthday Sundaes #49

I have some news to share~

This will be the last challenge for Birthday Sundaes.  I want to thank my present and past design team members for all their hard work.  Thank you to the fans that played along and to our sponsors that supported us during this past year.  This was not an easy decision for me but my attentions are needed in other aspects of my life and I had to give up some of my "fun" things.

This week's challenge NUMBERS - please include numbers on your birthday card. Don't forget your birthday wording/sentiment on your card front.

I am sponsoring our last challenge with this Birthday Mae stamp set from Some Odd Girl.

I'm sorry that I don't have a card to share this week but I've had a family emergency that has kept me out of the house all week.  Things are getting better with the situation but crafting is something I've had to put on the back burner for now.

Check out the great cards from the Design Team and enter your card {HERE}.

FBW #195 - Open challenge

Sigh...I'm having a hard time starting this post.

Today marks my last challenge with Flutter By Wednesdays....after being on and off the team a few times over the last three years, I have decided to step down permanently.  I've needed to make some changes in life and this is one of them.  I want to thank Danni for having me on the team for so long, it's my favorite challenge and I will still be playing along when time permits (which I hope is often)! To all my FBW teammates, it's been a pleasure to design with you and I'll still be fluttering by your blogs!

On to the challenge...this week's is open! Just be sure to include a butterfly, fairy or angel on your creation. Click {HERE} to enter your project. For more inspiration from the rest of the team, please visit the links on my sidebar or on the FBW blog.

Here is my card~

I colored this image weeks ago and finally got her on a card.  This is Lily from the Spring Flora Fairies from Carmen Medlin for SCACD. Since I colored her early, I was able to use lots of stickles :)  The paper is Bo Bunny Ambrosia, love these colors and I still have 1 or 2 more images to put on cards that match this paper. The sentiment is from Color Me Happy by My Creative Time. I didn't use it when I got it last year, but I've now used it on the last two cards I've made.

The layout is from this week's Techno Stamper's sketch~ love it and was so happy to play along again. It's been awhile!

Thanks for fluttering by today!

Tiddly Inks Challenge #81

I was on a roll last night and made three cards. This is the third one and I created it for the current Tiddly Inks Challenge - Best Friends Forever.  This cutie, Girl's Best Friend, was in my printed files for quite some time. She's thrilled to be colored and on a card now :)  I just love how the doggie turned out!

The layout of the card was based on a sketch from Digital Tuesday's challenge a few weeks ago.

Supplies:
Stamps: Girl's Best Friend from Tiddly Inks, sentiment from Scrappy Mom's Raining Cats & Dogs
Paper: Copic Xpress Blend It cardstock, MME Stella & Rose Gertie
Other: copics, prima flowers, Queen & Co pearl
