Squigglefly Challenge #40
Good morning!
It's time for another Squigglefly challenge. The challenge is to use "shiny things" with our Squigglefly images.
I love how my card turned out! So pretty and springy! This gorgeous flower was drawn by Lynne Stansbery, and it's from a set of 4 flowers. For my shiny things, I used glossy accents on the middles of the flowers, a gemstone and some shiny ribbon I found in my stash. I was so happy to use this paper too, it's from deep in that stash of mine.
The sketch is from Eat, Sleep, Stamp ~

If you'd like to play along (and have a chance for a prize!), please link your shiny things creation using Squigglefly images to the Squigglefly blog.
For more inspiration, please check out the other DT members' blogs, links are on my left sidebar.
Have a great day!

Mission Organization
Yesterday I went with my mom to IKEA to find some things to use in my craftroom. I'm lucky since she works there and can tell me about all the cool new things that come in.
This is by far the coolest thing in the world ~
I have been looking for a way to display cards that I make and receive and wow, does this thing rock or what. It is meant to hold pictures but since it's just chains and clips, you can hang anything lightweight on there. You can see it on the IKEA site HERE. Since I had a feeling that I would like it, I got a 2nd one that will go on the same wall. I've got tons of cards to display and hope to switch them out every few weeks or at least every month. How fun will it be to have all one holiday to display at once or my birthday cards, oh the possibilities are endless!
This is the 2nd thing that I did ~
I used the same bar that I use to hold my punches and bought hooks that go with it so I can easily display a bunch of my clear/unmounted rubber stamp sets. Hopefully I will use them more since they are a little more easily accessible and I can switch them out seasonally. You can see the bar on the IKEA site HERE.
I also got a cutlery caddy to put on my desk to hold scissors, adhesive, and other small tools that I use frequently. I forgot to take a picture but you can see the caddy on the IKEA site HERE.
Thanks for visiting, come back in the morning for a new Squigglefly challenge!

Little Baker
Good morning!! I have to say this is the first Saturday in a long time that I've felt like crafting early in the morning. I think the winter blahs are finally leaving, yay!!
Today I have a new Squigglefly image to share with you. She is Little Baker by Cheryl Alger. I really wanted to use my DCWV Sweet Stack so I chose the cupcake paper first which is wear the color inspiration came from. I like to think that she is baking pistachio goodies, one of my favorite cakes that my mom used to make had pistachio pudding oozing out of the middle.

Here is the sketch I used ~ I rotated it to accommodate my image.

Card Supplies
Stamp: Little Baker by Cheryl Alger ~ Squigglefly
Paper: DCWV Sweet Stack
Copics: E00, E02, E15, E17, E18, E27, E41, YG03, YG11, YG25, T3
Other: Large Deckled Rectangles ~ Nestabilities
Check out Squigglefly and see what other neat images were released today!

Flutter By Wednesday turns 100!!!
It's an exciting day for Flutter By Wednesday!! It's the 100th challenge, woohooo!!!!

Today we have a special surprise for Danni :) She requested that we use a butterfly for our posts today since FBW did start with just butterflies and boy did we take that and run with it. Karen found this fantastic template which can be found HERE and HERE and we all did our version to share with you all and our fabulous Danni!
Thank you so much Danni for having this challenge and having me on your team. I love butterflies almost as much as you do and am honored to be designing for you. You have created an amazing team and I am proud to call you all friends, we all love you so much! You are one of the kindest, most generous women I have been blessed to meet through the wonderful world of Yahoo Groups!
And now for my full project ~
I wasn't quite sure what to do with my box since I usually don't play with templates or boxes, so I went simple. I decided my box would hold some mini cards and I cut the flutterbys from coordinating dp for the cards and I glammed up the box just a bit with diamond stickles. I had such fun creating this surprise!
We do have an open challenge this week, if you'd like to play along, please link your project using a butterfly, fairy or angel to the Flutter By Wednesday blog. I'd love it if you can take the time to visit my DT sisters blogs to see their awesome creations this week, the links are on my sidebar.
Have a wonderful fluttering day!!!!
