It's Release Day!!

It's Release Day over at Squigglefly!! Every Saturday, lots of fab images are being released!

Here is one of today's new releases, Snuggling Ducklings. The artist is Eline Pelinkhoff. I think they are sooooo cute!

I had a Hi Friend card in mind, but since I couldn't put my hands on that stamp, I used Hi There from a Hero Arts set. The dp is Chloe's Closet from Making Memories and worked out well for the L is for Layering challenge at ABC Challenges. I decided to keep it a flat card so it could be mailed easily.

This is the layout from Splitcoast -

Card Supplies:
Stamps: Snuggling Ducklings ~ Squigglefly, sentiment ~ Hero Arts
Paper: Chloe's Closet ~ Making Memories
Ink: Memento
Copics: B97, Y21, Y32, Y35, YR65
Accessories: SU corner rounder

For more fabulous creations using these new releases, be sure to check out the rest of the Squigglefly design team. Their links are on my left sidebar.

Thanks for visiting! I hope to be back later with more creations, but first I need to clean the house since we have company coming over tonight!

Welcome to our fluttering hop!!

We are excited to share with you our NEW Flutter By Wednesday Blog and our new fluttering creations. If you are starting with me, please flutter back to the beginning of the hop at Danni's blog. We'd hate for you to miss a thing...you never know what you might see to inspire you! If you get lost along the way, you can always go back to Danni's blog where a master list of Flutter By Blog Hoppers is listed.

Here is my creation for Flutter By Wednesday #91...the theme for today is NEW. However you may perceive it as long as you have a butterfly, fairy or angel on your creation.

My 'new' for the card is Melissa since I just got her a few weeks ago and the paper which is Basic Grey Nook and Pantry which I got last month...so far I'm doing good not buying paper this year...but it's been 6 days so far LOL!!

I am so excited to have you flutter on to our NEW home, the Flutter By Blog.

Corrosive Copic Creations Card

I love Squigglefly's line of Shy Bears and have finally had a chance to use this adorable Birthday Bear.

Challenge #1 is the Copic Creations challenge - #19 Coloring Fur. Hopefully you can see where I shaded the bear. He's a little dark to begin with so I used T1 all over and then shaded around his ears, fingers and toes with T3.

Challenge #2 is The Corrosive Challenge - #45 - These are a Few of My Favorite Things. Use your two favorite types of embellishments. For me it was a no brainer - flowers & brads! I know you probably thought it was ribbon, right? he he he

I used Card Patterns #32 for the layout -

Card Supplies:
Stamps: Shy Bear Birthday Bear ~ Squigglefly
Paper: DCWV, PTI Raspberry Fizz
Copics: T1, T3, YR16, YG25, V17, RV11
Accessories: prima flowers, brads

Thanks for visiting!

Be Mine

My first card of the day is using Be Mine Cocoa from Sweet 'N Sassy Stamps. Isn't he adorable? I won him as blog candy on Sandy's blog and couldn't wait to use him.

It's um...rather pink, I like pink and all, but I think it might be a bit overboard LOL! I used this week's Sweet Stop Sketch and flipped it so that the dp went the right way. I added some fun flock to Cocoa's nose and the heart of the envelope. So glad I found these mini heart brads in my stash to use! That's 20 brads in 2 cards...only 20,000 brads to finish using up! {giggle}

Here is the sketch -

Card Supplies:
Stamps: Be Mine Cocoa ~ Sweet 'N Sassy Stamps, Love of My Life ~ CTMH
Paper: DCWV, PTI Raspberry Fizz, Paper Co.
Ink: Memento
Copics: E41, T3, RV11, RV14
Accessories: Marvy Circle & Scallop Circle punches, think pink fun flock, zig 2 way glue pen, ribbon, flowers & brads from my stash

Thanks for looking! I'll be back later with more creations :)
