Unscripted Flutter By Wednesday

During my image reorganization today I found quite a few Christmas fairies and angels, yay!  So I had to play along with this week’s Flutter By Wednesday – Christmas in July.

I used this week’s Unscripted Sketch #65 for the layout.

My first easel cards!

Today I am finally getting a chance to show off my newest thing - easel cards!

I made this one a few weeks ago and I refuse to give it away LOL!! I really love how it turned out and it matches my room perfectly


I got this Northwoods stamp a few months ago and thought it would be perfect for the space I had to fill on the card front. I also finally got my flower soft to stick, I used Glossy Accents - it's a little shiny under the flower soft but I'm just thrilled it stuck. Seems like anything else I tried didn't work. The dp is BG Infuse.


My mom liked the card when I showed it to her, so I decided to make her one for Mother's Day. She loves lilacs so when I saw this cute digi from Sweet 'N Sassy Stamps, I just had to get it! Cocoa was so much fun to color!

I used my BG Green at Heart, love this paper!! I had to get another stack of it even though I didn't finish the first one yet, that's how much I love it...this time I also got the matching ribbon doilies, can't wait to try those out!

I spotted a lot of challenges for easel cards this week, I'll have to get busy and make a few new ones!

Things That Fly

I had some time to play tonight and I created this card for a Things That Fly swap. I used Taylor's Cupcake Sketch #63 as a starting point. I love this sketch and can see using it again. I flipped the sketch to accommodate my image.

This is another bird from the Birds of a Feather set. I used one of the other birds in THIS post. There has been a lot of talk about Flower Soft on many groups lately. I finally decided to give mine a try. I really love how it looks with this card. The Sweet Pea mixture was just right for my card!
