Eerie Halloween!

Here it is...the last Halloween card of 2009!

I really liked all the cards I made this year, but I think this one might be my favorite. It has a "spooky" feel to it, I think. The fabulous paper is Eerie by Basic Grey.

The image is another House Mouse from Terry and I used Frosted Lace stickles to make it stand out a bit more. The layout is MOJO103. love their sketches! I think this will be another one used for Christmas cards.
I hope you all had a fab day! I'm off to finish up a few fall cards and maybe start one or two swap cards before bed. I'll be back tomorrow with more to share!

Trick or Treat!

Yay, I got some trick or treaters!

Here is the card I created for my neighbor. She only used to give out candy to us when my sister and I were little, he he. We're special :)

This is another House Mouse from Terry. She was so kind to send me some images to play with since mine are still packed up. I think this dino is so cute and just had to glitter it up lol

I used another Splitcoast sketch - SC220...too lazy to link it up at the moment, sorry!

Here's a better shot of the sparkle
Be back later with one more card!

Its a Candy Corn Halloween :)

I'm back with another Halloween card for you! This is the card I mailed to my mom, she liked it a lot :)

This adorable image was sent to me by my friend Terry. She is a huge House Mouse fan :)
The paper is all DCWV from various fall stacks. I can probably make at least 50 more cards with all the paper I have for this holiday. I used my spica glitter pens to color in the candy corn costumes and candy. Look below for a close up view of the sparkle. I didn't want to over embellish the card, so I used a single Petaloo Dazzler to accent. Love those! The layout is from SCS- SC252, I think this will be fab with a Christmas card!

I'm off to make sugar cookies with Mom. Will share another card when I get back!

Happy Halloween!!

Happy Halloween!

Anyone have any big plans today? My plans are working on the house, making cards and running errands - exciting, eh? I did buy candy to give out tonight, now I just hope the rain holds out long enough for me to get some trick or treaters! Since I'll be around today, I thought I'd share my Halloween cards one at a time instead of all in one post, so be sure to come back and visit later on!

Here is a card created with an image from a friend. She borrowed some of my Christmas stamps and in return sent me a bunch of Halloween, Fall and Thanksgiving images to play with.

At first I didn't care for it but after looking at it a few more times, it grew on me. I used one of Mercy's Tuesdays sketches (MTSC44) for the layout.

Card Supplies:
Stamps: image from someone else
Paper: DCWV
Ink: Memento for the inked edges
Copics: YR16, YR68, YG17, E25, E35
Accessories: ribbon (Michaels), brads (Joanns), Marvy Giga Scalloped Oval punch, Glossy Accents

Boo!

A quick post for this morning...wanted to share these Halloween cuties now that I know they've been received.

The images were shared with me by a gal on one of my card groups, they are by Sweet Pea Stamps. They have some very cute stuff! Both cards were created using sketches from Taylored Expressions - TECC74 (top) & TECC73.

That's all I have time for now...if you have a question on any products used, please leave a comment and I will respond!

Have a great day!

Flutter By Wednesday #81

Happy Flutter By Day!

Its another open week, so if you would like to join us (and I hope you do!), please create something using a butterfly, fairy, or angel and link it to Danni's blog.

This happy card was created using a House Mouse image from my friend Terry. I used my newly discovered Basic Grey June Bug paper...knew I bought it but couldn't find it until this past weekend when I had to go through my scrappy stuff to repack it and move it to another room :sigh:

I went sorta Clean & Simple on this card using FTL61 from the Clean & Simple Stamping blog...hard for me to call it clean when the paper is so busy LOL! I couldn't find any appropriate embellishments so I added some sparkle using my gold spica pen on the butterfly, its kinda hard to tell by the picture though. The sentiment is from a Hero Arts clear set. I even dusted off the prismacolor pencils to color the image in, and have decided I still love my copics better.

Please visit my fellow team members, links are on the left sidebar!

Have a great day!
