Corrosive Challenge #83

When I was at The Big E the other day, I had to go see if the Sarasota Stamps booth was there. Every year that I've gone since I started stamping, I always buy a few stamps from them. I was so happy to see they were still there!

I bought quite a few stamps, among them 2 very nice pumpkin stamps. I wanted some realistic looking images since most of my stamps are cute and whimsical. I've been wanting to try the masking technique and was pleased to find it as a challenge at the Corrosive Challenge blog this week. Just the motivation I needed to get these stamps inky!

At first I stamped the 2 smaller pumpkins with the bigger pumpkin behind them...it didn't quite look right. So next I stamped the smaller pumpkin and masked the bigger one behind it , and then stamped a smaller one next to the bigger one. Love how it turned out!!

I went 'old school' with the embellishments and pulled out some leaf eyelets to use...the brads went missing lol, but at least I found a nice alternative. The sentiment is from the CC Designs Amy R Autumn Sentiments set.
